“I spotted this cute little coffee shop while exploring Landis NC, the Sunday before Thanksgiving. I finally stopped in today(12/01) and was beyond impressed. Not only is it a warm, welcoming place but the young lady that waited on me was very friendly, and helpful. Thank you 😊 The coffee (pumpkin spice latte) was delicious! FAR BETTER than those coffee chain stores! I love the “gratitude, garland” and that they hold Bible study once a month (I hope to attend every month). In a world trying so hard to shut Jesus out, it is so nice to see a business that welcomes Him. Thank you for a great experience and delicious coffee! Katie C. 😊☕️”

“Me and my boyfriend have been coming here up at the gas station and we been trying different things on there menu. We were eating and this guy came in and order a burger, not the crispy chicken sandwichs, and we never seen them or heard of them, so the next day we come in and order one and it was one of the best burgers of my life, much better than the crispy sandwiches. Along with their wedges, are so good.”

“We have eaten at Smoke Pit before in a different location and love the food. However, my family thought the food was better at this location (Concord location). The burnt ends are amazing and portions very generous (you get your money's worth here!!). My family got the burnt ends spud, pork plate, burnt ends sandwich, and the burnt ends plate (can you tell we like burnt ends?). The BBQ is top notch and the sides are just as amazing. The service at this location was a perfect 10. Super appreciated the atmosphere at this place. We came in late not realizing it was close to closing time and realized it after we were served and front doors were being locked. We asked a server what time they closed and he was super polite and told us 8pm (it was 8:06). He said, "you're good, enjoy your food!" with a genuine smile. Then a very elderly gentleman came in through the unlocked exit door and the manager explained they were closed but ended up serving this gentleman as well. Special shout out to Mike the manager for being so kind with the customers as well as the staff. He was obviously working hard and serving dual roles running register, serving food, directing staff all while being pleasant to everyone and handling things with grace. Truly appreciate the atmosphere and staff at this restaurant and highly recommend you stop by and enjoy it yourself. We're a hour away from this location but I think it's worth the drive to revisit!”

“Honestly, I’ve been coming here for years, since it was groundwork common. The coffee is the best in the area, the staff is awesome and friendly, the owners are such great people, and it’s such a great atmosphere. It’s one of my favorite places to go. 10/10 recommend.”

“I enjoyed it thoroughly! The burgers tend to be a little dry because of the excellent crust they have on the outside. Cheese is a must on the burger. The shakes are brilliant! Fried cheese curds were a little salty and maybe too addictive. Overall a winner.”

However, tonight we had a new server, Miguel, who was attentive, kind, and exemplifies the kind of service that makes you want to return! You need more service like this guy! He seems to really care! “I can’t express how happy I am with Mac Tabby Cat Cafe. I went a few days before Christmas to possibly adopt a new cat. The staff here is amazing, the cats are all adorable and it was overall a great experience. I adopted a beautiful white cat and I love her to pieces. I would not hesitate in the future to adopt from Mac Tabby again. Alternately if you just love cats and want to go hang out for an hour with the kitties, it’s a blast. The cats are very interactive. “We had a small gathering at this restaurant to celebrate my sister's 6th birth. I guess it was a baby shower, but she wanted it to be very low key and chill. So we decided to meet here. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. There were two young girls working the floor that seemed a little bit overwhelmed with the size of our party (we had 8 guests), and then another large party came in shortly after us, and they also had 8 guests. We could see that the girls were nervous and they were working very hard to accommodate both parties. They did a great job. They checked on us constantly, kept our drinks full and kept asking if we needed anything. They did great. Then an older woman (who worked in the kitchen), saw my sister opening gifts for her soon to be baby, and she brought us out ice-cream and watermelon for dessert for free, just to add to our celebration. The servers added a small discount to our bill for the mother to be. It was a really sweet thing to do and it meant alot to our group.
This restaurant is small, but the food is VERY good and the staff is accommodating. They made us feel very special and we will absolutely be giving them more of our business.”
