“Post-church we decided to have a late breakfast and drove out to Cagney’s in Granite Quarry. The restaurant focuses primarily on southern fare and we watched a lot of really good looking plates passing by us as we waited for our food. Our table enjoyed eggs prepared a variety of ways, shredded hash browns, cubed potatoes, grits, bacon, turkey sausage, regular sausage, biscuits, and wheat toast. Everything was really good and our waitress did a nice job. The dining area is comfortable, the menu is expansive and they have specials everyday. While we did not get desserts, they have a variety of cakes that looked amazing. Next time!”

“This is a very clean restaurant. I didn't like what I got, it had no flavor or taste. Very bland. I added salt and pepper and was able to finish it. People were nice. I ordered chicken on a stick, pork fried rice and egg fo yon gravy sauce. Absolutely no taste or flavor. I didn't care for the red on the chicken.”

“We had a small gathering at this restaurant to celebrate my sister's 6th birth. I guess it was a baby shower, but she wanted it to be very low key and chill. So we decided to meet here. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. There were two young girls working the floor that seemed a little bit overwhelmed with the size of our party (we had 8 guests), and then another large party came in shortly after us, and they also had 8 guests. We could see that the girls were nervous and they were working very hard to accommodate both parties. They did a great job. They checked on us constantly, kept our drinks full and kept asking if we needed anything. They did great. Then an older woman (who worked in the kitchen), saw my sister opening gifts for her soon to be baby, and she brought us out ice-cream and watermelon for dessert for free, just to add to our celebration. The servers added a small discount to our bill for the mother to be. It was a really sweet thing to do and it meant alot to our group.
This restaurant is small, but the food is VERY good and the staff is accommodating. They made us feel very special and we will absolutely be giving them more of our business.”
