“It's not much to look at and the food is really good. My brother introduced me to the Wing Ding meal, wings, slaw, potato wedges and a roll, years ago and I absolutely enjoyed it. Now, I stop in occasionally when I need my wing fix.”

“This place is amazing! The owners treat you like family and the food is the best within the state! If you love chicken fillet sandwiches, dont waste your money on Chic fil a ever again. Every time we come here and try something new, its even better than the last thing we ate. Everything is seasoned to perfection and cooked perfectly. Not only can Darrell fry, cook, and grill, but he has perfected smoking any kind of meat that there is. Love this place!”

“Me n my son go there every Saturday. They have the best mexican cuisine in rowan county. People may look at like just a taco truck but its much more. The meats are thoroughly seasoned to perfection and you get joy from every bite. When I work out that way me and my partner definitely are getting much there. Definitely hot and made to order with everything you want on your taco, burrito quesadillia, torta, and much more. If you like the simple things the chicken nachos is for you. Great customer service and the atmosphere depends on who you are riding or driving with. Google only let me give 5 stars, but they are a 10 outta 10. Check them out. Side note, my favorite is the chicken n steak burrito with everything on it with their home made salsa Verde.”

“They have great food and great service. I love the pictures on the wall. They also have travia cards on a shelf that runs along the wall. The food proportions are very good and you get your money's worth. I went early before the crowds, but it got busy as I finished my meal.”

“The staff is a family of sweethearts, and they're food is so good every time. If I could change one thing, it'd be.. more fries when I order a cheese steak sandwich lol. This place is great, seriously.”
“Fresh bread, crisp veggies, and the staff at the Rockwell location were super friendly and fast even during the lunch rush. My Italian BMT was stacked and tasted great. Clean store, solid portions, and you really can't beat customizing everything exactly how you like it. Will be back!”

“I enjoyed it thoroughly! The burgers tend to be a little dry because of the excellent crust they have on the outside. Cheese is a must on the burger. The shakes are brilliant! Fried cheese curds were a little salty and maybe too addictive. Overall a winner.”

“As part of exploring local food and the cultures behind it, Recipes of Culture recently visited Loteria located at 113 W Innes St, Salisbury, NC 28144, and it was a great experience. This family-owned restaurant from Guanajuato, Mexico brings authentic flavor and vibrant culture right to downtown Salisbury. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, colorful, and welcoming. The restaurant’s name is inspired by Lotería, a traditional Mexican game that dates back to the 1700s and is often compared to bingo. Instead of numbers, the game uses illustrated cards like El Gallo, La Sirena, and El Corazón. It’s a fun cultural tradition that many Mexican families grow up playing, so it’s great to see that cultural connection represented in the restaurant’s identity. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well prepared. The portions were generous, and you can tell the dishes are made with care. Everything tasted authentic and satisfying, making it a solid spot for anyone craving Mexican food in the Salisbury area. At Recipes of Culture, we love highlighting places where food and culture come together, and Loteria is a great example of that. If you’re in Salisbury and looking to support a local business while enjoying great Mexican food, this is definitely a place worth visiting. — Recipes of Culture”

“I ordered a large (huge) Texas fajitas for dinner. I got two little wraps to go with all that food. I also picked it up and brought it back to work and it came with chips (unsalted) and the tiniest, little cup of salsa that tastes very bland. The fajitas are good tho just hope I have some wraps to go with at home.”

“The country styled steak taste like a frozen piece o eat doesn’t taste the least bit like country styled steak the gravy tasted horrible. The green bean on my husband’s plate tasted like the can that they came out off. The fried okra tasted like it had been sitting awhile and cold. The only hot thing on my plate was the fried squash. Tour food wasn’t worth what we paid for it. I did notice that a lot of people left a lot of food on there plates uneaten. Will not be going back.”
