Our waitress did a wonderful job and so did the others servers that stopped by to refill water . We had the special $44 which was plentiful and I am glad that it supported a worthy cause. I live out of town, but we go to The Melting Pot for special occasions when I am in town.”

“Enjoyed a fabulous meal last night with our friends. The restaurant is in an older antique home in Huntersville close to the highway. We were greeted at the door by the host/owners very friendly and sat with our group of seven in a small very private area ( as are most) in a series of dining rooms very nicely furnished with comfortable chairs. Our hostess immediately came over and took our drink order. There was a large selection of wines by both glass and bottle and both cocktails and regular beverages served from a large bar at the rear of the restaurant. The menu selections were wide and varied and the hostess informed us of three additional special entrees for the evening . For appetizers we ordered garlic bread with a traditional dipping oil and calamari with red sauce both were great . All the entrees were served together and were the best Italian food we have tasted outside of Italy anywhere. A lot of there sauces , desserts and breads are made on premises. There was water goblets as soon as we arrived at the table. Service was excellent, food was delicious and remarkable. Would not hesitate to go back. Prices were outstanding . “First time visiting this location of Red Rocks. Saturday afternoon was very attentive. No seating inside at time of visit so was seated outdoors.. which we didn’t mind. Server was respectful and polite. Only problems was ALLLL THE FLIES. Fans were circulating above but not really near tables to serve any purpose other than moving air. Owner/manager greeted everyone which was very nice. But you really got to see what can be done with flies… you could barely get food on your fork up to your mouth before they were all over your plate or trying to get to the fork. That made for an unpleasant dining experience. I’ve never ate on any restaurants outdoor area and flies were that bad.”

“Not traditional New York style but the BEST we've had since moving here. We've tried many other Chinese restaurants that had favorable ratings but they were very disappointing. I was surprised, though, that Bao Bao charges extra for white rice with the entrees and no crispy noodles are served with the soup. Also, I personally prefer whole spare ribs but the cut ribs in sweet and sour sauce were good. Different, but good. No egg rolls, just spring rolls. The shrimp with walnuts is outstanding!”

I ordered a whole slab and the 3 side "tray" for $7.99. I had the green beans, baked beans and corn pudding. Loved the green beans, baked beans were more "zingy" than sweet but not bad and I like my corn pudding sweeter but it was definitely corn pudding. Ribs were tender. My son had the brisket sandwich with a side of the hand punched fries and okra. He enjoyed it. And the few fried I swiped were delicious. If you're in the mood for BBQ give this place a try.”

The "Blah Blah" veggie omelet was phenomenal. I'm definitely a Fan for LIFE!!! I'm new to the area & this was my first time at this restaurant & it will definitely not be my last time!

I asked for the special BD offer. Mgr explained the procedure to get this promotion. However she made a exception which impressed me as well as the birthday boy. “This place was amazing, went in this past Monday. Before I went, I called to just to find out about pricing, and the girl who picked up was very helpful. Took her time to explain, and very pleasent. When we got there it happened to be her. I select the vanilla bean palette with smores topping. She also gave a great suggestion for next time, which I'm looking forward to. And to call each week to see if it was a special well today was my lucky day! I called and it was on special! “First time there tonight to pick up takeout. I believe a previous review said their chicken fried rice had not much chicken. I have experienced the same with the chicken lo mein. Very few pieces of chicken in it. Would suggest they consider adding more since people notice, but even still I think the price is fair. Good flavor also, not super greasy or anything.

Another complaint I have is how it costs $1.00 just to order online. It’s listed as a service fee. In this day and age with how many online ordering options we have, customers don’t really like paying service fees for it. I do understand this is a small business though and I’m tolerant of that. Just wish they had built it into the price of the food or something as it’s rough to see. Kind of like how people would rather spend $10 more on merchandise than pay $5 shipping fees. Just my two cents. Would return.

“I have had Small Cakes full and mini sized cupcakes from both the Durham and Huntersville locations on a few occasions. The mini's are my favorite because I like to sample a few different flavors with less guilt than eating like a dozen full sized cupcakes LOL! The flavors are all yummy and the icing is always dee-lish-ousssss. Recently, I ordered a different delicious item- the sugar cookies! My order of two dozen custom cookies was a beautiful addition for my daughter's baby shower. I ordered from the Huntersville location. The process was swift and professional. I spoke with the bakery owner personally about my vision. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted, but she was patient and resourceful enough to offer an array of options. After a few inspirational pictures and a quick online ordering process I was good to go. On the day of pick up, the Huntersville location baker called to remind me about the order. He was not there when I came to collect the goodies, but an energetic associate working the register greeted me with a smile. I was super excited to see the final product and so were our guests. The cookies were all the rave at the baby shower. We chose a vintage Winnie the Pooh Bear Tea Party theme so the cookies were a perfect treat. The individual wrapping made decor and distribution very easy. Most importantly, the cookies were delicious. The combination of tastes in the icing and the actual cookie was spot on. Sweet, but subtle. Guests were slow to devour the whole cookie but only because they were admiring the culinary craftsmanship of each small treat. We ate them slowly while sipping tea. It was reminiscent of scenes in a classic Pooh and Christopher Robbins book for sure lol. The cookies were not just a good treat, but helped create a great vibe. As pop culture would phrase it, Small Cakes understood the assignment. Thank you for making our baby shower celebration all the more sweet! -Another Satisfied Customer”

There are not many options of dishes for vegetarians, but if you like burritos or gorditas, quesadillas or chips and salsa, THIS IS THE SPOT TO EAT!Keep in mind that this is a taco truck, so you will have to wait in front of the truck and take the food to go, but believe me, it is totally worth it.My husband had 3 gorditas, chicken and carne asada, and he loved his food. It comes with a small salad and grilled onions.I had the freshly made chips with salsa and a super veggie burrito.If the point is to have good Mexican food (not necessary sitting down at a restaurant) there's no need to visit any other Mexican place, order and take it to go.We will be back without a doubt.”

“I recently picked up a cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes in Birkdale Village, and I was blown away by the incredible frosting job done by Sophie! The cake was not only delicious, but the frosting was smooth, creamy, and perfectly decorated. Sophie's attention to detail and skill are truly impressive. She took a already amazing cake to the next level. The staff was friendly and helpful, but Sophie's frosting skills are the real MVP. If you need a cake, ask for Sophie to work her magic! Can't wait to come back and try another one of her beautifully frosted creations!”

“Just want to shout out Jet’s pizza...I (like apparently ever other human in the area) called multiple places this afternoon for a pizza delivery a few hours ahead of when I wanted it, and Jet’s was the third try that could actually do the time I wanted the pizza to arrive. The time came and passed so I called 15 minutes after it was due to ask for an update. I was told that my order hadn’t been assigned to a driver because they got really backed up but it would be out ASAP. I was bummed since we had trick or treat to get crackin on, but I just said “ok thank you” and hung up and told the kids we would play it by ear for adjusted plans around when food got here. Just before 6:00, I get a call from Jet’s profusely apologizing, telling me a fresh pizza order would be to me shortly and my card would not be charged. My pizza arrived perfectly hot and fresh not long after, and my kids still got a full night of trick or treat in...just wanted to shout out Jet’s for this above and beyond gesture as I had NO expectation for such a thing, knowing how crazy all the pizza joints were tonight (10/31/20)”

“New to the city, and I’m already fortunate enough to have found my go-to Chinese spot! Food is cheap, servings are generous, tastes fantastic, and the staff is extremely nice here!! Been here a week and already gone twice - egg rolls, hot sour soup, mandarin chicken, fried rice, sesame tofu - it was all superb! If the rest of the food in this city is anything like this place, I’ll be very happy here.”

“If you want a casual meal out, Yoshi's is the place to go. Their food is always fresh, hot, and delicious! The staff are friendly and relaxed. The quick service to order at the counter and either sit down and wait or takeout is on point.

Pricing is just right and I am always excited to try new sushi rolls and items on the menu. The panfryed gyoza is savoring and a wonderful appetizer.
