“My knitting group and I found Neoteric last summer when looking for a spot to partake in World Wide Knit in Public Day. Right away, we felt welcomed by the staff, appreciated that they were willing to answer our questions about the beers on tap, let us taste different beers before committing to a pint and we really enjoyed our afternoon there. Flash forward to almost a year later and almost every Saturday, you will find at least two of us knitting away, chatting with the staff and drinking the best beer in the Lake Norman area. Why do we keep going back? The current staff is extremely friendly--they know us by name! The owners are good people and they have created a very welcoming atmosphere—love the green walls. It's dog and kid friendly, has good live music and the trivia night prizes can't be beat. There's usually a food truck, but you can always order from Killingtons across the street too.We consider Neoteric to be our Huntersville version of Cheers and look forward to many more afternoons of knitting over their delicious beers.“
“Great place ! Layout and atmosphere were cool ! My only observation, along with a few of the people around me was, the print on the beer list is exceptionally hard to read. The font is small and it's a light blue color against a light colored background. Make that print BOLD like a double IPA !!!“
“Great beer, super friendly and helpful staff, great atmosphere! The beer selection is wide enough to ensure they have something for everyone (even have quality NA beer in cans). Personal favorites are Twains Amber, Goseck's Black Lager, and Sargon Red Lager.“
“What an amazing place! We had such a great time here! Well worth the trip! This has been on our list for a while. I was a little worried that the hype would lead to disappointment, but not in the very least!! As soon as we pulled up, we knew it was going to be fabulous. When you enter, there is so much to see that you can't even figure out where to look first! We were immediately greeted by the beertender who was so incredibly helpful!! You could tell that he loves his job and wants to make his customers happy. He allowed us to sample so many beers! He definitely went the extra mile! We took a ton of pics and then had to check out the merch!! We couldn't resist buying a few things! Oh! And the beer? Holy smokes! Fantastic. I chose the pumpkin IPA, which tastes like dessert. My travel mate grabbed a flight that we both enjoyed. Every beer was seriously delicious!!! I am thrilled that it lived up to beyond our expectations! If you love breweries, this needs to be on your bucket list! You won't be sorry!!“
“Went to my 2nd Graduation night and tried the Pineapple Cider. The glass was about 3/4ths filled but that's fine. It was really delicious. I was surprised that it wasn't bitter. You definitely could taste the notes of Pineapple. I love the open airy feel of the brewery and quick location to campus.“
“Twenty-Six Acres is a hidden neighborhood gem. While the location is a bit obscure, it is well worth the find. We went on a Friday evening. It was busy but not overly crowded. The servers are friendly. The brewery is nicely decorated with plenty of seating. There are plenty of screens to watch whatever sporting events are on. There is also an upstairs area that can be reserved. We were able to order food from Cousins Maine Lobster, which was the food truck on site that evening.Check the website or social media to see what events are happening throughout the week!“
“Cool place. We were there for a meeting where we kind of took over the side seating area. We sampled a few of their beers on tap. I opted to try a can of their apple crumble cider. It smelled just like apple pie. It didn't taste like pie which was probably good. It was a great apple cider. Only bad thing is I got the last one.“
“The beer selection is varied and tasty! The owners are awesome and make their guests feel like family. A fun spot off the beaten path featuring different events and local food trucks. Power went out but the kept the drafts flowing. Support local and go to Eleven Lakes!“
“Let me just say it was a great experience based on the lack of customer service at some restaurants. Not the case here. Alexis was my serverer. She went above and beyond making me feel welcomed. Thanks for hiring a great staff member BJ's. Me and my family will definetly be coming back!“
“Really great experience! The staff was knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They were patient as we worked through decisions and made several recommendations. Almost all of the beer was good to excellent. Amongst our group. We did several flights and there were only one to two beers that we did not like, which is to be expected. Personally love the amber waves, kettle fog and lawn boy. Our friends enjoyed the pomegranate gose, which I dislike goses and I could have had a whole pint. We also got the double IPA in cans to go and it was very good. I did also ask and they confirmed that they fill growlers if you bring your own. Lots of games to play and a nice open courtyard for when it's warm. We will definitely be back!“
