Hickory Tavern Reviews
Good food, service, atmosphere. Reasonable prices.
We had a great experience at Hickory Tavern! From the moment we walked in, the host made us feel welcome. They were friendly, gave us great recommendations, and took the time to tell us about the specials and house favorites, which made it so much easier to decide what to order.
Our waitress was wonderful—pleasant, attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. The manager also stopped by to check on us, which was a nice touch...read full review

Great ambience , food and service here. took care of allergy concerns
Hickory Tavern offers great service from friendly bartenders, though the manager may need improvement. The restaurant itself was chilly, but the food was excellent and the service prompt. A pulled pork sandwich with onion rings was tasty, despite the surprise upcharge for the side. The Diablo Burger was juicy, though not as spicy as expected, served with sweet potato fries. The atmosphere was quiet and conducive to conversation in the large bar area with high tables and metal stools. The staff, including servers like Aniya and Kim, are attentive and make the experience more enjoyable. Aniya was especially praised for her politeness and welcoming attitude, ensuring all needs were met during busy visits. The manager, Michael, was helpful and friendly, assisting with special requests like refrigerating a birthday cake and bringing necessary serving items. The bartender Katie went out of her way to make a blackened fish sandwich that wasn’t on the menu, which was delicious thanks to chef Paola and her team. While the experience had its ups and downs, there is potential for a return visit to explore more of the menu options.
