“So delighted with service with a smile and assistance from everyone even if it was not my server. I took my grandson 14 today for his birthday at Fresh Watch Huntersville. I asked for the special BD offer. Mgr explained the procedure to get this promotion. However she made a exception which impressed me as well as the birthday boy. Food excellent, server I called Ebony (wrong name) smiled and brought all things requested in a timely fashion without the usual look of give me a chance. The 5ft 3 Mgr made small talk with BD boy. She was amazing customer care with ease. Ki thank you.“

“My sisters & I stopped in on July 11, 2023. Super friendly staff. Our waitress was so sweet & the entire staff was friendly to us. We’re from Texas, so we don’t have many Waffle House restaurants in our area. Food was ok, but the friendly service was 5 star!“

“Update: it's been a month since I been back and today they were able to redeem themselves. our order was correct and no problems of finding my order when I got there. Food was great and cooked the way it makes you want to go back. Hopefully our future visits will be like this all the time“

“One of our favorite places to eat. We love to stop here before vacation; the best way to get things started! My wife and I always get the Five and Dime, and it never disappoints. My wife enjoys the lattes too. There’s a reason this place is always busy!“

“It's small and quaint. The loaded hash was delectable. I wish the added cinnamon or vanilla to their waffles. It fell a little flat. They ran out of biscuits and salsa, so I used the jalapeño hotsauce, which was decent. Our sever forgot to place our order, and we waited over an hour for food. Mine came immediately (I was late), which prompted them to ask where their plates were. They also got their eggs mixed around. I thought the good was just ok. Nothing to write home about. I did find the eggs light and fluffy, though. So, it was a win.“

“First time my wife and I ate at the Sun Up Cafe!! The service and the food was amazingly awesome! The whole staff especially our amazing waitress Brooke J.was so polite and attentive, going above and beyond to provide a wonderful eating experience. My wife and I would highly recommend this amazing place.“

“I came on a random Tuesday while I was out with my brother and it was great!! My brother ordered a strawberry milkshake while I ordered an Oreo milkshake and the one I got from my server, MJ (who, by the way, was absolutely on top of everything and got us everything we needed!), was absolutely delicious. I order them every time I go now, definitely one of my favorites!“

“Amazing service. The lady was super nice and gave us utensils in hot water for cleanliness. Don't remember her name, but she was the best and gave me another free lemonade. Food was good, not a lot of gluten free options but tasty. Wasn't too busy, nice and chill. Staff was super nice and responsive to my questions. Only thing is I asked without toast due to the gluten and they put it on anyway. It isn't too big of a deal because I'm not celiac, I just felt bad wasting it.
Overall great and clean.
Dietary restrictions: I got the egg, hash browns and meat (bacon, ham, or sausage.) I can only have gluten free, so I asked without toast but they still put toast on it anyway. There isn't really anything gluten free besides the eggs and hash browns. The hash browns hurt my chest, probably due to the oils they use. If you have gluten intolerance, I suggest just eggs and meat, but I wouldn't eat here at all if you have celiac.“

“Good breakfast. Ham egg and potatoes w excellent gravy on the side. Wish I would have ordered biscuits n gravy. I am sure they would have been fabulous. Super good OJ. Everyone was super helpful and attentively helping us. Would recommend and go back.“
