“The blonde lady that cooks on the night shift, is a very good cook and a sweet person. We came in Tuesday night and the food was amazing. She even cut up our dogs food we ordered to take with us. We came in over the weekend but she wasn’t here ? the food was ok but not like hers. lol I think she spoiled us. Thank you to the blonde cook on the night shift for making our visit a great one. We will definitely be back and next time I will get your name.“
“Some how part of 1st shift staff schemed together, noting that I never came in until 2nd shift sever named Jennay told manager & fellow workers that I came behind the counter got in her face screaming she was a racist First of all I am a Christian not perfect but try my best to conduct myself accordingly I minister across the country over the years in many all African American churches many churches in the area know me well and are associated with me and I have adopted two biracial children as they were infant my baby girl is 18 her next birthday with this in mind, first of all if I would’ve come behind the counter and said that in her face which never happened the cameras would have it on film Secondly I do not understand why they agreed to conjure up such lies on me just because one or two of them didn’t likea Christian presence Of course the manager believed their story without any proof without anything on they are continually finally calling me a racist I have asked upper management to please deal with it and approach them an apology for defamation of character not just for me but all the people that I am associated with this was a manipulated incident and there are many people that will not go there now because they know what they have done and the manager will not do anything about it Billy he’s very rude and obnoxious treats employees very harshly if he doesn’t like them and normally has them moved to another store there are many witnesses to this that has been happening for at least 6 to 8 months we’re just like an apology from the people that told the lies and the management the store does have good food I like waffle house food I’ve been attending eating in waffle houses all across the country from here to Tucson i’ve never been treated like this in my life only because one or two people did not like me for some reason this needs to be corrected so hopefully the upper management can do something about it defamation of my character and ministry means a lot to me I have waited over six months and not voice my opinion out like this but it needs to be told and it needs to be dealt with sincerely a waffle house regular.“

“My children and I ate here today. Upon coming in, in which I'm Very observing. The young lady whom was supposed to serve us loudly said that she didn't want us. Therefore, another lady chose to serve us, she told me upon check out that her daughter went to Carrowinds today. God Bless her and everything that she touches. We're all people made by Father God, we All bleed red and couldn't do Anything without Him, our Creator! God Bless her, and I was obedient to Him, and I tipped her 20 dollars!!!! “Food is ok but it is not a cafe and arcade !It is a diner only I went there to eat and play a game. Dodge this place if you are thinking neat I can grab a burger and play pac man.Brief interaction with the owner after eating there back to back days as I am leaving, I ask a question as I am walking out and the owner gives a look to one of her worker's behind my left shoulder that gave me the feeling I should find somewhere else to eat that final day I was in Hickory. So I ate somewhere else the next day .“
“Kind of reminds me on an upscale Panera Bread. We arrived at open, so I think the service was a little light, not bad, I think they were just getting going. We had a couple breakfast sandwiches that were good. And I saw many treats that looked great, so I'll be getting some of those in the future. We also enjoyed a couple of lattes that were delicious. Caramel and vanilla. Over all a pleasant experience“
“Always excellent service. Have not had a bad experience yet. Employees are always friendly. Usual just do the drive thru, today (Sun. 11: 30 A.M.) was the first time I dined inside. The cashier was wonderful, so much so I'm calling corporate for her. Ordered the loaded fries, the picture actually represents the size and topping of what is delivered. No false advertising!“
“The biggest pancakes on earth is here! Wow I was shock how big these pancakes were. I had enough to take home for breakfast the next day. I had basic scrambled eggs and french toast along with my gigantic pancake. My family and I even tried "Liver mush" that was very different and it was actually not bad, I'm just not a fan of the texture but taste was it was good. We shared just one slice just in case we didn't like and the overall conclusion its not something we would purchase again. Overall great experience, service was fast and quick and of course friendly“
