“My knitting group and I found Neoteric last summer when looking for a spot to partake in World Wide Knit in Public Day. Right away, we felt welcomed by the staff, appreciated that they were willing to answer our questions about the beers on tap, let us taste different beers before committing to a pint and we really enjoyed our afternoon there. Flash forward to almost a year later and almost every Saturday, you will find at least two of us knitting away, chatting with the staff and drinking the best beer in the Lake Norman area.Why do we keep going back? The current staff is extremely friendly--they know us by name! The owners are good people and they have created a very welcoming atmosphere—love the green walls. It's dog and kid friendly, has good live music and the trivia night prizes can't be beat. There's usually a food truck, but you can always order from Killingtons across the street too.We consider Neoteric to be our Huntersville version of Cheers and look forward to many more afternoons of knitting over their delicious beers.“
“Probably the BEST Hardee's in Charlotte NC and the Lake Norman Region. Hot juicy food, and the place was spotless and Clean. Paul was good enough to take our order, with a smile! The atmosphere was enjoyable. I could tell everyone behind the counter liked working together. A manager came out to check how cold it was in the dinning room, then made the positive adjustment showing sensitivity to her patrons. Lastly, the chicken finger tenders I do believe are the BEST in the industry. Definitely get 5 or more! If you're in the mood for a cheese burger, the fresco burger is cheesy! “I took my friend and his wife to this place and it was an awesome experience. The double cheeseburgers with mushrooms, grilled onions, lettuce and tomatoes was delicious. And the fires were endless.Vegetarian options: My friend had the veggie burger.“
“Went out to lunch this Monday with my niece and mother and had attempted to go to Kung Foo Noodles not knowing they were closed. My niece then chose Bad Daddys which was thankfully open! Were seated quickly and had drinks come promptly. Our server(Karrie maybe) was on top of everything and made sure we were well taken care of. Even offered to go cups for drinks on the hot day when we went to leave. The food was good, came quick and was put together well. Wish we would have tried some sides, as the fried pickles looked good, but it wasn’t cheat day, and if it had been, I would have smashed a shake too. Mom and niece both orders salads, one made to order the other off the menu Greek and both said they liked it - and was large enough that I liked it too - as they couldn’t eat it all!If in Birkdale and looking for a good salad, burger/sandwich, or beer apparently as they have a small bar, I would check out Bad Daddy’s.“
“We were surprised that it wasn't a dine in place but they have a large menu with options for everyone. The food was great and the employees were super friendly and pleasant. Would definitely recommend. I want to go back and try more from the menu!“
“This was great, service was lovely - super attentive and happy! We got a vegetarian corn dog, the corn dog was crispy and delicious! Also had something from the appetizer menu, a Pimp'n fries- this was their house made pimento cheese melted over top of waffle fries., and a side of hush puppies. The hush puppies were crispy on the outside and hot. I had their bbq sauce and tartar sauce, both were good! Apparently you can also do the pimento cheese vegan. There were a bunch of vegan choices and lots of vegetarian choices. They did warn me the fry oil was shared though (so keep that in mind), there are boiled veggie dog options too if you're more strict about fry oil than me. Cocktails looked good on the menu but I ended up just getting water, nice crunchy ice!“
