“Small bar that has Guiness available on tap. Also have a variety of tap and bottled beers. Popcorn is available for purchase. Not sure if there is a food menu. They have a shuffle board game to play. Found out there is a barber shop in there also. Not sure of the hours of that.“

“We had a great experience at Hickory Tavern! From the moment we walked in, the host made us feel welcome. They were friendly, gave us great recommendations, and took the time to tell us about the specials and house favorites, which made it so much easier to decide what to order.
Our waitress was wonderful—pleasant, attentive, and always made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. The manager also stopped by to check on us, which was a nice touch and showed that they genuinely care about their guests’ experience.
Excellent service from start to finish, and the staff really made our visit enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!“

“absolutely the worst taco place I have ever been to.. confusing ordering..no server, just food runners..way over priced for below average cold tacos.. mixing orders together leaving customers to figure it out.. no server to keep your drink filled.or clear your table ..table hot sauces taste like pure vinegar.. small tiny tacos at the price of normal size tacos...just not good..I spent almost 100 dollars and left angry because it was so bad, confusing and Chaotic and bad tacos... will never go back..worst experience I ever had just trying to get some tacos... I don't know who thought this up..but you have no idea what you're doing.. you will soon be filing for bankruptcy..people don't want all the confusion and doing everything on their own while paying double for a tiny not good taco..you may get first time customers, but I would say 90 percent won't be back.. what an absolute ripoff..“

“I spend a lot of time on the road with my work and I am always looking for a comfortable bar that isn’t a chain restaurant. This place is a great vibe. The staff, ( Megan, and Lex) are awesome. They allow everyone who enters to feel like a part of the “regular “ crew. I’ll be back here anytime I’m around. Would recommend to anyone.“

“Stopped by The Highway Bar and honestly this place exceeded expectations. The vibe is what first caught my attention - clean, stylish, and laid back without trying too hard. It has that perfect balance where you can come in during the daytime for casual food and drinks, but it also easily works for a date night spot in the evening. The indoor atmosphere is super cool with the vintage black-and-white photography, long bar setup, and upscale speakeasy-style feel, plus they also have outdoor seating and a back patio area which makes the whole experience feel even more versatile.
Food and drinks were both genuinely good. I ordered the Old Fashioned, chicken skewers, and loaded fries - everything came out fresh, flavorful, and well presented. The Old Fashioned was smooth and balanced, not overly sweet, and the chicken skewers were tender with great flavor. The loaded fries were easily shareable and honestly addictive.
Service was friendly, attentive, and the restaurant itself was very clean from the dining area to the patio spaces. You can tell there’s attention to detail here. The surrounding area also adds to the experience since there’s nearby entertainment and music venues, so it feels like part of a fun local nightlife pocket rather than just a random stop.
Overall, this is one of those places that feels easy to recommend whether you want cocktails, appetizers, a relaxed night out, or somewhere with a little atmosphere that still feels approachable. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in Mooresville.“

“Awesome (if sometimes eccentric) beers with a VERY large selection. They have something for everyone: Stouts, IPAs, Lagers, Sours. Very chill vibe, almost like the basement rec room. My wife loves the Vienna Lager, I usually get one of the Porters or Stouts, or my old standby Ass Clown IPA.“

“After FOUR YEARS of driving by this place and hoping to one day walk through the door....IT FINALLY HAPPENED on Friday, August 16, 2024! The BoatYard LKN is everything I knew it would be and more! My neighbor and I bought tickets for the "Who's Bad Ultimate Michael Jackson Experience" show.
We arrived early to grab a comfortable seat. Prior to the show we ordered shareables and a few cocktails. The service was incredible from beginning to end! From security to the bartenders, everyone was friendly and welcoming! It must be something about the environment inside, because I met so many kind people who absolutely LOVE the Boatyard LKN experience! The show was incredible! (Minus the storm that came through during the second half of the show.) I will definitely go back REAL SOON!“

“This place is awesome! If you are looking for a relaxing place to hang out with friends, have a few drinks, and shoot some pool, this is the best place in the area. The bartender was friendly and attentive. There was plenty of room inside and outside. Driver's of all vehicle types are welcome.
Parking: There are several designated motorcycles in addition to cars.“
