Great food..great service!
Manager Todd is the best!! we had dinner and forgot about the left overs spoil in our hot car while going to movie at birkdale. Todd and his team graciously offered to hold our to go containers in the kitchen to preserve our meal while we went to the movie.!! Too notch.
Also for those gluten free/sensitive NI has the GOAT of gluten free. I’ve tried other places - this is my 20/10!!
We're on vacation visiting friends is Mooresville, NC and looking for a place to take them to dinner. We settled on North Italia and what a great choice! We started with the focaccia bread which was what all bread aspires to be. Warm and delicious, and great flavor and a bit of olive oil and balsamic to dip in. We also asked for the garlic bread which comes with a ricotta cheese spread that was delicious. We ordered a variety of pasta dishes, pizzas and everything was excellent....read full review

North Italia is a great addition to Birkdale Village, perfect for a date night at the bar, lunch with a friend, or a big group celebration. The food is consistently delicious and overall amazing. Favorites include the spicy rigatoni, grilled bread, little gem caesar, pizza with a nice kick and delicious dough, the chicken parm sandwich, and lasagna soup. The meatballs are tender and served with sauce and ricotta cheese, a lovely combination. The arancini is delicate and flavorful, with a deep fried outside and melty cheese inside. The lasagna is a novel take on a classic, constructed with cheese, sauce, short ribs, and sausage. The strozzapreti is also fantastic, with chicken, spinach, mushroom, and a parm cream broth. The bolognese was found to be a little bland by one diner, and the white truffle garlic bread was too hard. The nonalcoholic drinks are good but a little too sweet. For lunch, they have several options for an appetizer and entree special which are totally worth it.
Service experiences vary. Some servers are described as extraordinary, going above and beyond, very attentive, kind, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and brunch cocktails. They make amazing recommendations. However, there can be downsides. One visit experienced slow service where entrees arrived at different times and a salad was forgotten, though it was quickly corrected. Another table had a wait before being greeted, though the bartender stepped in to help. Overall, the food is excellent and the experience is great, making it a spot worth visiting for a delicious meal.
