“Today I was Blessed with being able to share a meal with these two lovely ladies. Brenda and her grandson on the left, Lazara and our waitress Janelle.. None of us had ever been to Miami Fusion Cafe before, I'd never heard of it but Lazara's son had told her about it and that was where the ladies wanted to go so that was where we went. This does not normally happen but it happened with Janelle, I liked her attitude and demenor immediately. Janelle is a people person and interacted very well with us. She even brought Brendas grandson a coloring book. I have ate in Japan, Hong Kong, Okinawa, Philipines, all over teh USA, Mexic and Honduras and Canada and I have met some very exceptional waitresses, but Janelle tops the list as far as I am concerned. You see, I speak fluent Hillbilly and half decent Englis, and very litte Spanis, My friends told her and every time she addressed me she spoke English probably better that me and was so nice. To say the least, Janelle was an exceptional waitress and at the same time so lady. like. Her demenor and attitude was the thing that made me like her immediatly. But then came the good food aaaaand sahring a meal with Great friends, which was topped off with a this lovely, attentive, friendly, courteous, prompt, waitress with a smile that would stop you in your tracks! Janelle is a wonderful personality. My day was topped off at Miami Fusion Cafe in Denver, NC. where we met Janelle.”

“My wife and I had the Dragon bowl and the Acerola smoothie. Both were absolutely delicious! The bowls were bigger than others we have had in the area and the fruit was so fresh that I thought they were growing it in the back! Jessica and Mike are the best and they are so welcoming that you feel like you have known them for years. Next time, and there will be MANY more next times, I'm going to add cacao nibs. I think the chocolate would add another mood boosting layer to my already insanely healthy breakfast. This kept me going all the way to lunch and I even skipped coffee! I can't wait to go back to Seaboard Station Palm Berries and try the next bowl.”

“We love love love Lake Norman Brewery! It’s always lots of fun and the music is usually great! Love the ciders….delicious! One thing I don’t like about it….you can never sit at a table. We used to get there 6-6:30 ish and there were usually tables to sit at. Now….they’re ALL reserved! Last night we got there at 6:25 and there were no tables available. They ALL had reserved signs on them. If you’re going to reserve them , there should be a few left over for us folks that wander in…spur of the moment! Just sayin………. We came after dinner last night with our company and didn’t bring chairs…….it was a bummer!🍻”

I especially liked that you can enjoy your drink in a real, clean mug instead of the usual paper or plastic cup—it makes the experience feel a little more relaxed. “Saw an ad on Facebook that a cheesecake food truck was coming to Troutman, and even though I’d never heard of them before, the photos of their mason jar desserts immediately caught my attention. I decided it was worth the 20-minute drive to check it out.
They opened at 4:30, and when I got there around 4:36, the line was already long. Between waiting to order and then waiting to pick up, it took about 30 minutes total—but honestly, it moved pretty efficiently. The staff was friendly and working nonstop to keep up with the demand. A lot of people were ordering multiple jars at once, which seemed like a good sign.

I went with the 16 oz strawberry cheesecake, and it did not disappoint. It was delicious—creamy, flavorful, and definitely worth the wait. I’d absolutely track this truck down again.

Their store locations are about an hour away, so it was awesome their food truck came closer. Fingers crossed they make an appearance at the Downtown Mooresville food trucks this summer!”

“I can't believe after nine months living here in this beautiful city of Denver NC that we had not tried 16 Prime. We did last night and it is amazing. The service was amazing (thank you Page) and the food was incredible. I had the 12 oz filet mignon with a blue cheese crust. One of the best steaks I have ever eaten. Knife sliced right through. Perfectly cooked. We will be back! I highly recommend, but you will pay for this quality.”

“Excellent lunch today @ Kanpai. Tuesday is $3- off apps so had to go heavy on the appetizers! We had the tuna tower (which I’ve found is the best in the area), tuna trio (sashimi), gyoza and a cucumber salad with seaweed. Absolutely love their sashimi here. Service quick and friendly as always”

“My wife and I recently decided to give this new Mexican restaurant a try, and I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised! In fact, we’ve already been back three times, which should tell you something!

Now, let’s set expectations. This isn’t fine dining, nor is it trying to be. And frankly, judging a casual Mexican restaurant by white-tablecloth standards would be missing the point entirely. Sometimes you just want good food, generous portions, friendly people, and a place that delivers exactly what you came for.

Well, let me tell you, this Mexican restaurant SLAPS!

The portions are generous, the staff is genuinely friendly, your drink glass never seems to reach empty, and the chips just keep coming! What’s not to love?

One thing that really stood out to us was the flour tortillas. I can’t say for certain they’re made in-house, but they sure taste like it! They have that wonderful chew, fresh flavor, and texture that make you want to order a few extra just because.

My wife and I have absolutely loved every chicken dish we’ve tried so far. And after three visits, we’ve had a pretty good opportunity to explore the menu! The pictures I’m sharing are just from one of those visits.

Now, in the interest of keeping things fair, I’ll mention that I haven’t been quite as enthusiastic about some of the seasoning on the steak dishes. Something about the flavor profile just doesn’t quite hit the mark for me. But that’s entirely personal preference, and it certainly hasn’t stopped us from coming back!

The cheese dip is exactly what you want it to be, the salsa is tasty, the chips are plentiful, and the overall experience is just plain enjoyable.

Not every restaurant needs to reinvent the wheel or deliver some elaborate culinary masterpiece. Sometimes a place simply needs to do what it does, do it well, and make you want to return.

And this place absolutely delivers!

The best Chinese food in NC. We travel from Southeast CLT (literally THE BEST). Their scallion beef GET IT! The best egg rolls we've ever had! Scallion Beef or Orange Beef... you should honestly get both! I wish they were closer or opened a store close to Matthews/Monroe area... as we would get it more often. If you want good... really good Chinese food, weather in Mooresville, Denver, Lincolnton or anywhere in driving distance. GO GET IT! You HAVE to get the Orange Beef or the Scallion Beef WITH THE EGG ROLLS!!! Best of the best!”

I placed an online order, so no mistakes in understanding should have been made. I ordered the filet and Chicken, which was not filet. I want to touch base on that first because every person that works here front and back of store are actually so beyond kind. They are making back-to-back drinks.
