“Today I was Blessed with being able to share a meal with these two lovely ladies. Brenda and her grandson on the left, Lazara and our waitress Janelle.. None of us had ever been to Miami Fusion Cafe before, I'd never heard of it but Lazara's son had told her about it and that was where the ladies wanted to go so that was where we went. This does not normally happen but it happened with Janelle, I liked her attitude and demenor immediately. Janelle is a people person and interacted very well with us. She even brought Brendas grandson a coloring book. I have ate in Japan, Hong Kong, Okinawa, Philipines, all over teh USA, Mexic and Honduras and Canada and I have met some very exceptional waitresses, but Janelle tops the list as far as I am concerned. You see, I speak fluent Hillbilly and half decent Englis, and very litte Spanis, My friends told her and every time she addressed me she spoke English probably better that me and was so nice. To say the least, Janelle was an exceptional waitress and at the same time so lady. like. Her demenor and attitude was the thing that made me like her immediatly. But then came the good food aaaaand sahring a meal with Great friends, which was topped off with a this lovely, attentive, friendly, courteous, prompt, waitress with a smile that would stop you in your tracks! Janelle is a wonderful personality. My day was topped off at Miami Fusion Cafe in Denver, NC. where we met Janelle.”

“One of the best Philly cheesesteaks I have ever eaten! Every bite was full of flavor, and even the fries and ranch were out of this world. The customer service was excellent as well, they greeted me with a smile when I walked in, and when I left a small tip, they seemed genuinely grateful. I will definitely be eating here again!”

“Food and service is excellent. The value is great for the amount of food you get. Sara L was polite and very attentive. The calamari was a huge portion and enough for 4 people as an appetizer. Every time we come here we leave happy and full and with some leftover for the next day. Highly recommend”

“We love love love Lake Norman Brewery! It’s always lots of fun and the music is usually great! Love the ciders….delicious! One thing I don’t like about it….you can never sit at a table. We used to get there 6-6:30 ish and there were usually tables to sit at. Now….they’re ALL reserved! Last night we got there at 6:25 and there were no tables available. They ALL had reserved signs on them. If you’re going to reserve them , there should be a few left over for us folks that wander in…spur of the moment! Just sayin………. We came after dinner last night with our company and didn’t bring chairs…….it was a bummer!🍻”

“Excellent lunch today @ Kanpai. Tuesday is $3- off apps so had to go heavy on the appetizers! We had the tuna tower (which I’ve found is the best in the area), tuna trio (sashimi), gyoza and a cucumber salad with seaweed. Absolutely love their sashimi here. Service quick and friendly as always”

“I LOVE Caribou Coffee! Honestly haven’t tried very many of their coffees because I love the iced vanilla white mocha so much. Not to mention the team that works here is so friendly and consistently makes my coffee delicious!

“Came on a Tuesday for tacos. Got steak and pork with pineapples. These are best tacos I’ve ever had in my life!!! Full of flavor and so much meat I had to eat with a fork. Highly recommend this little food truck. It’s parked in front of the store. I will probably come here 2 to 3 times per week now.”

“My husband and I dined here on December 27th. The young lady that took our order was very friendly and personable. While eating, a young gentleman checked on us twice. On his second time of checking on us, I waved him over and informed him that the Mtn Dew was all syrup. He stated that they just had had someone come out to fix the carbonation and he was guessing it didnt get fixed. He replaced my drink with lemonade and we talked briefly about what flavor lemonades we enjoy. He was very friendly and personable as well. 5 STARS for service and the food was great as well. My husband stated that it was probably the best flounder he had ever had.”

“I’m surprised this taco truck doesn’t have more reviews. food was pretty good for the money and price was reasonable.

Owner seemed like a pretty nice guy and surprisingly he had free mini waters and mini cokes.”

“Tried them today for first time and super happy with my experience. The three ladies working today were fast, FRIENDLY, and efficient. My smoothie was excellent and so was my wrap. Reasonably priced. Clean. New place. Will be a regular for healthy fast food. Two thumbs up!!!”

“Pelican’s is always great to have, especially when it’s really hot outside. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, and it’s still a favorite treat spot. My go-to flavors (and what’s in the picture) are Tiger Blood and Piña Colada, blended together in an Avalanche size—it’s such a good combo.

The other order was a Strawberry Cheesecake flavor in a kiddie size. He said it was okay but wished it had more flavor.

Overall, this is a solid spot to cool off with something sweet and nostalgic.”

“Overall, Japan is a decent resturant. However, they seemed a little off the game last night, and the last couple of visits. I placed an online order, so no mistakes in understanding should have been made. I ordered the filet and Chicken, which was not filet. I also chose ginger sauce with my entree, which was not provided. the food was pretty bland too. I would recommend Japan, if there are no other options at the time.”

The food menu is simple with enough choices for a lunch or dinner meal and of course all of the expected Dairy Queen ice cream choices for dessert. Overall this store during my visits has been a positive experience with good service and food/ ice cream. Quick, easy and well priced.
