“My husband, and I went today. The lady was so patient as we decided what we wanted, and she helped us decide. I got the garden bowl, it was so delicious. My husband got a smoothie, he loved it! We will definitely be back!”

“The customer service at Capt'n Pete's in Maiden was outstanding and we will definitely be back! We didn't realize that they closed at 8, and when we got there at 7:30 they welcomed us on it. We had salt&pepper catfish filet, deviled crab, and Alaskan White. Everything was FRESH, HOT, and DELICIOUS. The hushpuppies were also so good! Thank you Capt'n Pete's for a great and friendly experience.”

“I visited Don's Grill for the first time a few days ago. The atmosphere is very homey and cozy. The staff was really friendly and checked on our needs often! The food is very tasty and comes out piping hot and exactly as ordered, which is fantastic. There are a lot of options and there are different daily specials to choose from. The milkshakes are wonderfully thick and come in a wide variety of flavors! You can dine in or call in an order and pick it up at the window or you can order at the window and wait for your order. I will definitely be back.Kid-friendliness: It is just a friendly and relaxed place.”

“For those of you who aren't old enough to remember what a "fish camp" is, this is it! 3rd generation of family ownership. Scratch-made tartar sauce, onion rings slaw and hush puppies. Catfish fillet meal is strips, not a full slab. Still delicious; not greasy, and batter was not over-salty. Service was a slow for the size crowd. Server was managing 4 tables with total of 7 people. Never refilled my drink. Was offered more hush puppies, but they never arrived. Also got the wrong slaw: ordered sweet and received sour. I'll come back for the good. food, but probably lean towards take-out next trip 5 food and 2 star service.”

“Stopped in for breakfast this morning. Was greeted at the counter by a young lady named Chasity. What a pleasant experience. Food was wonderful and chastity was so polite I had to look at the bag and make sure I wasn't at Chick-fil-A lol dislocation is the cleanest most professional parties I've been in in a while. Coming behind a bad experience had a hildebran location this was a refreshing change in quality of service and customer service and product. I would recommend this particular location to anyone.”

Special thank you to the sweet lady at the register that made us 2 fresh right out of the oven BoBerry biscuits this morning. “My first time here on Wednesday. I heard so many good reviews about this place and they were all true. It was a bustling restaurant and reminded me of home. I ordered the scramble but I had my eggs fried. It was flavorful, perfectly presented, and enough for a to-go box. I was by myself and yet, my server did not neglect my coffee cup amid the full house. I will always want to return for the tasty breakfast and the warm atmosphere.”

I can't even go a month without visiting this place. They even have seasonal menus, so drop by when your favorite holiday is rolling around the corner. The people are HEAVENLY. They treat you like family, they treat you like you belong in their store. Everything from the food, to the people, to the gorgeous atmosphere make this a staple of Catawba; I LOVE Cherry Pop's Soda Shop!”

Maybe because all the ingredients were local. Maybe because of the yummy dressings. In any event, my dining partner & I agreed... these were the BEST salads we ever had.Seriously, they could bottle those dressings & make a million dollars! Yummy!
