“My husband and I dined here on December 27th. The young lady that took our order was very friendly and personable. While eating, a young gentleman checked on us twice. On his second time of checking on us, I waved him over and informed him that the Mtn Dew was all syrup. He stated that they just had had someone come out to fix the carbonation and he was guessing it didnt get fixed. He replaced my drink with lemonade and we talked briefly about what flavor lemonades we enjoy. He was very friendly and personable as well. 5 STARS for service and the food was great as well. My husband stated that it was probably the best flounder he had ever had.“

“We have lived in Mooresville for 34 years. This is only our third trip to Big Daddy's. The first time was so long ago I don't remember it. Everytime we go the food gets better and better. If you love seafood but not necessarily the beach, this is the place to eat!!! It is better than any beach restaurants.“

“My wife and I brought our four-month old in for our very first visit. From the moment we walked through the door until the moment we left, the service was above and beyond. Our waiter (Bryson) was polite and visited frequently enough to where we never truly needed anything. You will PAY for your meal, but for good reason. The meat was aged and of high quality. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The service and food complement one another well. Highly recommended!“

“Was greeted quickly, and the server was attentive. Shared the shrimp basket, and there was more than enough. Hushpuppies we good too, but would prefer a true honey butter sauce. We did not like the pickles as they were more vinigar forward than we prefer, but they were great and took it off the bill. And can't beat that view!“

“The restaurant is beautiful, clean and the view is great. Where it looses a few stars is in service. I asked the server about an entree I was considering. The Cioppino sounded interesting but I didn't want anything too rich. She said it was a heavy, filling meal because it was served over pasta. I almost didn't order it but decided I could just eat half and take the rest home. There was no pasta in the dish! Staff shouldn't describe dishes they are unfamiliar with! I almost passed up an incredible meal. A simple, “I'm not sure, I'll ask” would have been the way to go. Because I took a risk, dinner was terrific. A good server doesn't make it up. The chef would not be happy.“
