We went for a late lunch. I had the crab legs and they were perfect! Hubby had the baby shrimp. The portions are plentiful. Our server was attentive and friendly, Even laughed at his dad jokes ?.

“I tried El Batán Restaurant last week with a group of people and I cannot say enough good things about the food and the restaurant! This place is a hidden gem; and everyone said their food was fabulous! I have to agree! I had a Pisco Sour (a traditional Peruvian cocktail) and the Picante de Camarones as my entree off the A La Carte menu. It came with rice and was very satisfying and absolutely delicious! The seasoning was delicate and unlike anything I’ve tasted before. I can’t say enough great things about our meal, the restaurant, and the service (which was friendly, informative, and attentive). We took home two of the three desserts pictured and the Tres Leches (left) was our favorite! I almost hate to say this, because I’ll probably never get a seat there again, but don’t hesitate to take the opportunity to try this Peruvian menu. It’s a little off the beaten path (Hickory address, but really in Bethlehem—a left on 127 right after the bridge) but definitely worth the trip!“

“The guy who claims to be their chef is a pervert. He has been sexually harassing my daughter Emma. It has gotten to the point police are involved. Jason Chef Watson He should be Blacklisted. even after police involvement he was sending many threats. he is a bad bad dude, and I see he has been accused of sexual assault by several women. Stay away from my daughter Perv. or else. His GF April Moore is crazier than him.“

The drinks menu was impressive, offering a wide variety of options. But what truly set this restaurant apart was the service. It was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, making us feel valued and well-cared for. The combination of exquisite food, exceptional service, and a great atmosphere makes this a must-visit destination for anyone looking to enjoy an excellent dining experience. “I ate there yesterday 9/7/22. I ordered the 18oz ribeye which I had to bring half home because I ate too much appetizer. Best steak EVER I've had eating out. Kudos to the chef, you made my day. 10 stars.“

“Food was good. Little greasy as expected. Only real complaint is how they do things for the drive thru. No one else at screens or window when we ordered/paid, but that’s because they put a sticker on your mirror and you have pull up past the window to park and wait on them to bring it out. Once you pay, there’s 3 lanes. 2 outer lanes to park and wait and a middle for leaving. We sat there for almost 30 mins waiting on 2 plain burger combos. Some people that were there before us, were still there after we left. They come out wandering around confused as they are trying to match the order to the number on your rear view mirror. It was an odd experience and not one I plan to repeat anytime soon. Really shouldn’t take that long for fast food.“
