Now I'm a good customer of the Crumble Cookie in Hickory near Barnes and Noble book store.They also have a website to check out the cookies for the week, and I forgot to do it. So I go bye and go in and see if they have my favorite cookie that week. I will share with you my favorite cookie . The Lemon Merrage is so delicious .All of their cookies are to die, for the prices are a little higher than I thought they would be, and they range about 4 dollars a cookie. Your best offer is to get 6 cookies in the box for 19 to 20 dollars, I could be wrong they may have been cheaper than that. But you get more for your money when you buy more than one cookie. If you haven't been to try their cookies, you need to go by and make your order for delicious and hot cookies. They even have milk for sale to drink with your cookies.”

“I tried El Batán Restaurant last week with a group of people and I cannot say enough good things about the food and the restaurant! This place is a hidden gem; and everyone said their food was fabulous! I have to agree! I had a Pisco Sour (a traditional Peruvian cocktail) and the Picante de Camarones as my entree off the A La Carte menu. It came with rice and was very satisfying and absolutely delicious! The seasoning was delicate and unlike anything I’ve tasted before. I can’t say enough great things about our meal, the restaurant, and the service (which was friendly, informative, and attentive). We took home two of the three desserts pictured and the Tres Leches (left) was our favorite! I almost hate to say this, because I’ll probably never get a seat there again, but don’t hesitate to take the opportunity to try this Peruvian menu. It’s a little off the beaten path (Hickory address, but really in Bethlehem—a left on 127 right after the bridge) but definitely worth the trip!”

“I just love this little bakery. They are always welcoming and so sweet. I love the whoopie pies they make. My favorites are pumpkin and oatmeal. Both are soft and filled with vanilla buttercream that is smooth not broken. I also love the little banana bread loaves moist with chocolate chips and pecans, only thing I wish they were much bigger. We will be bringing our grandson to play putt putt soon. What fun! Support home town, it’s so worth it!”

“The guy who claims to be their chef is a pervert. He has been sexually harassing my daughter Emma. It has gotten to the point police are involved. Jason Chef Watson He should be Blacklisted. even after police involvement he was sending many threats. he is a bad bad dude, and I see he has been accused of sexual assault by several women. Stay away from my daughter Perv. or else. His GF April Moore is crazier than him.”

“Amazing little hole in the wall diner. Great food and selection of items. I always get the livermush, egg, and cheese with the livermush cooked crispy. And it's ALWAYS cooked to perfection. The employees are super friendly and helpful. They have limited hours and are only open for breakfast and lunch, so keep that in mind when you're wanting to order from here. The parking lot is small so just keep that in mind when coming here to eat. They don't have indoor dining, but they have a table or 2 outside to sit at and eat. This is a must try restaurant when you're in Hickory. Make sure to get napkins when you pick up your order because sometimes the sandwiches can get a little messy, but those are the best kinds to eat. Prices are outrageous like other places. I give this place a 10/10!!”

“They are open all night and my time for clocking out at my job is 1:30 am not much at all open at this time. Food good and quick enough getting it to me for only 2 people working others might think different I've been in their shoes 2 employees taking on a rush of night shifters I w hard to handle but I seen them handle and me get my food with me being last one before the next rush and I was in my room 30 minutes 10 minute drive time still to go and full in 45 minutes right in time for bed. Clean up was nothing and cooking was on the back in the box team.”

“My sister and brother in law have been living here about 8 years and they have loved this place or as they call it “a gem” since they found it. I am not a super fan of Indian food having tried it in the past but this place changed my mind. I absolutely loved the ambience, classy, clean, neat and warm. Veronica our server was SUPERB ! She made this a 10/10 experience for myself , my daughter and my brother because it was our first time. Food was delicious, Veronica was on top of everything and her personality was so warm, funny, polite, and just wonderful. I hope to see her again when I come back.

The service is great, people are phenomenal and experience is top notch. You will NOT be disappointed to give this bakery a chance with your order. Thank you to Corner Bakery for pulling the order for our bridal shower off without a hitch and we want you to know that there were so many that raved over the cakes and cupcakes.
