The combination of exquisite food, exceptional service, and a great atmosphere makes this a must-visit destination for anyone looking to enjoy an excellent dining experience. I cannot recommend Duke’s enough!! It is a must try if you’re in Hickory!”

“They have some of the best dinner options available. I got the filet mignon and crispy Brussel sprouts with mashed red potatoes. I have yet to find a steak better than what they serve here at Notions828. Perfect place for a date night as well”

Our server seemed disengaged and gave the impression that she didn't want to be there. Great customer service is a key part of what makes a dining experience enjoyable, and we hope that next time we visit, they'll have staff who are more enthusiastic about their work.”

“My wife and I love The Fourk. We visit Hickory often. I'm originally from NY, on our first visit our Waiter was Dave. Great guy and awesome conversations. We missed him this last visit, however, Tasha was also a fantastic Waitress. We loved The Burrata, and my lady was delighted with The Jumbo Scallops. I just can't stray away from your Fourk Chop. I'll try something else next time.”

“Had to find a brewery for our day trip out to Hickory and happy we chose Olde Hickory. I loved the aesthetic of the carved out bar in the brewery. Parking was right around the corner - you could definitely miss it if you weren’t looking for it. Not a ton of parking, but it’s a pretty small bar area. I love that they had several TVs up and were playing college football and basketball. That’s a way to my heart. Everyone was very friendly. I had a flight and my wife had the Christmas Ale. I think of the four beers of my flight, I really liked one, liked two others, and didn’t love the last but beer is subjective to the taste buds of the drinker.

I’m glad we went and next time we are in town we will try to stop in again to try some more beers.”

“My husband and I are “foodies” and we absolutely LOVE the Vintage House in Hickory. We would rank this restaurant as one of the top in NC. Every appetizer, entree, and dessert are delicious and beautifully plated. The atmosphere is upscale without being stuffy. Prices are in line with the food and service received. All staff are excellent, and we particularly appreciate the warm welcome we always receive from Jack. We are very thankful to have such an excellent restaurant in our hometown!”

The cashier stared at us the whole time and asked us to hurry. They told us we had a limit of an hour inside. We didn't question it and left. This was 3 years ago. Could of been my new favorite coffee spot. Have not and will not be back.”

“I just love this little bakery. They are always welcoming and so sweet. I love the whoopie pies they make. My favorites are pumpkin and oatmeal. Both are soft and filled with vanilla buttercream that is smooth not broken. I also love the little banana bread loaves moist with chocolate chips and pecans, only thing I wish they were much bigger. We will be bringing our grandson to play putt putt soon. What fun! Support home town, it’s so worth it!”

“A hidden gem. It is not a sit in restaurant but the food is excellent. I love their desserts. My personal favorite is their livermush sandwich with slaw, onions and mustard. I dare you to try it. How do you all make the livermush so crispy. I can't do that at home without burning it.”

“It was so fresh! Nothing being warmed for hours in a hot pan... This was all made fresh. Crispy fried Pork Eggrolls were my favorite from today! Hard for 1st favorite right behind them with the prok noodles. The flavor was out of this world! Fresh soft noodles and I didn't need any sauce on these. We did receive 6 sauces with our order, all of which were very tasty. Crab Ragon were so crispy and very full filled! The dessert egg roll was AMAZING! The Boba tea on point with several flavors! Priced just right! Very friendly front of the house man, who explained the answers to all my questions about the food and drinks with a smile! . We will definitely visit again our next trip to Hickory!”

I went around 9am on a Thursday, it wasn’t busy which was nice for me to take time and pick out what I wanted to try. Everything was delicious, fresh and appealing to look at 🤩💘”

“I stumbled upon this place without knowing anything about it, and I'm so glad I decided to stop in and check it out! It's a cozy little place with an awesome karaoke stage, full bar and a food menu. The atmosphere is great and the energy of the attendees are fun and lively. I met the owners personally and they are amazing and super friendly. If you are looking for a relaxed place with good drinks and love to karaoke your heart out, look no further! They also have 2 pool tables that are free to play (first come first serve), but be prepared to share in the vibe of friendship and socializing!

Note: It's a mostly stand up environment due to the capacity and space. Security is present to check for ID at the (back) door entrance, so 21+ only allowed. They are currently open Friday and Saturday only, 8pm - 1am, which happens to be perfect for my schedule. 😀 See you soon!”

“By far the best Chick-fil-A location in our county! I come through at least 3 mornings per week on my way to work for breakfast, and every time they are so kind, respectful and have the best customer service! I've been a patron at this location for about 10 years or more and they truly have some of the best staff around! I particularly love my early morning staff, such as Ava, Caleb (×2), Jessica and so many more! They simply make my days brighter, and also serve delicious food! “This Culvers was extremely impressive. We stopped by for lunch on our way to Asheville. When I say they were busy, that may be an understatement. Line out the door, drive thru lined up, parking lot FULL. Being that we had received a Culver's gift card for christmas, we decided to go ahead and stay. The staff was extremely friendly. We waited about 10 minutes in line to order considering the amount of people. Then only had to wait about 15 minutes for our hot and fresh food to be at our table. I have experienced longer wait times at other Culver's in an environment that was not a fraction of the amount of busy they were. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I want to give props to the crew working. They were on it! Everything was clean, even the drink station! As stated before, very impressed with how this location is ran. Like a smooth sailing ship. Great job guys!”

“Since this location is opened up, I’ve ordered from Little Caesars more than a dozen times and I should have left a review earlier. Unlike a few other places, this location always has their pizza cooked properly incorrectly. The deep dish crust is always crispy the way it should be, and everything is always completed in a timely fashion. The best Little Caesars store I have ever ordered from. Can’t recommend them enough and they deserve this glowing review.”

A lot of subways just slap everything together and don't put an effort but they did for sure. I put extra pickles and they delivered. The sub was amazing. I love how the coffee is never too sweet or too bitter, I can usually expect the same thing every time. “This is the best chicken place in Hickory now, by a mile (East Coast Wings has gone way downhill and their max spice level being X-hot now is just sad). The menu isn't huge because everything they do (I've tried everything I believe), they do very well. The prices are also really good. Do yourself a favor and try it out. You won't want to go anywhere else in the city for chicken, unless you need a whole one, spicy or not.”
