We didn't have a reservation. That is my only complaint they do not open until 5 PM and you can only call for a reservation I was unaware that you had to have a reservation for this establishment. We arrived shortly after 5pm on a Tuesday and we were sat at a tiny high top table by the bar. There were numerous empty tables that were never seated the entire duration we were there, so I was unsure of why we couldn't have one of those tables? We went to Fourk for dinner Saturday night. We didn't have a reservation but we're able to get a table right away at 5pm. We had appetizers of the Ahi and avocado and crab cakes. Next we had the cranberry salad and Cajun salmon soup. For the main course I had the seafood melange. Service was excellent the dishes we're original and well thought out however they were a bit under seasoned. All in all an excellent meal and we will go back.

Fourk is a staple in our restaurant rotation in Hickory. However, it had been quite a while since we visited. The service was a little slow to start.
