Met some friends for dinner, and I was SO hungry for some BBQ. We ordered some food and I anxiously await my food... and was mostly disappointed. All the sauces were very lackluster. The sweet and spicy was a thin tomato sauce that was spiced up, but nothing more. The sides were bland. The drink I ordered was really subpar and on my ticket was a completely different drink??? Wow! This is a gem in Hickory. I come to town often for work and stumbled across this through the app. First impressions are HUGE, this is a big open restaurant with a nice bar in the front and open kitchen. But the smell of smoke meat hits you as soon as you walk in and it is great ! My server was Sierra and I must say I got the best service I have had in years! Service was very good!! Food was good we got the smashburger sweet potato casserole and corn casserole. The corn casserole was spicy and not our favorite. We won't order that again.
