“We were traveling out of town and didn’t arrive in Hickory, NC until around 9 PM, so we decided to grab a bite to eat at Olive Garden. Back home, our Olive Garden stays open until midnight during the week and 1 AM on weekends, so we had no idea this location closed at 10 PM. If we had known, we probably wouldn’t have gone so late.

The hostess could definitely use a little more customer service training, but our waitress was absolutely amazing. Even though it was close to closing time, she never once made us feel rushed. She treated us like we had come in during the middle of the day and had all the time in the world.

We finished around 9:45 PM, and throughout the entire meal she was patient, friendly, and answered all our questions about the specials. She even brought my husband a drink to go because she noticed he must have been thirsty after several soda refills. She just kept them coming with a smile.

The food was okay overall. Unfortunately, we both ended up with heartburn afterward. Mine was from how spicy my meal was, and my husband’s was probably from all the marinara and spaghetti sauce. Still, the excellent service from our waitress really stood out and made the experience much better.

“I was responsible for ordering and picking up 13 meals while also babysitting my grandson, so it was quite a juggling act. I placed the order through the app the evening before and scheduled a pickup time for 11AM. When I arrived—with my grandson and a large cart in tow—the staff member came out from behind the counter with a huge bag. Noticing how busy I was, he kindly offered to carry everything out to my car. 🙌

When I got back to the office, I was even more impressed—each meal was labeled with the person’s name! 🏷 That level of attention to detail really stood out. Talk about going the extra mile! ⭐ He was absolutely fantastic! And they included plenty of crackers, plasticware and mustard packets!!“

“By far the best Chick-fil-A location in our county! I come through at least 3 mornings per week on my way to work for breakfast, and every time they are so kind, respectful and have the best customer service! I've been a patron at this location for about 10 years or more and they truly have some of the best staff around! I particularly love my early morning staff, such as Ava, Caleb (×2), Jessica and so many more! They simply make my days brighter, and also serve delicious food! “I go there all the time. they are always friendly. they always ask me if there's pizza I want for them to put out on the buffet. the spaghetti is always great the sauce taste great. clean. just a great place to go. highly recommend this place“

“The best part about a kickin chickin sandwhich is the dripping ranch and tounge torch sauce. Both sandwiches had a dab of each on one piece of chicken. Worst experince I've had at Zaxby's! Called the 800 number and they didn't care. When you pay 6 dollars for a sandwhich expectations should be high. I'd give this a zero if I could. Today i spoke to the manager and he went above and beyond to make sure we were recertified for our last night experince. I'm changing from one star to 3.“
