waitress was pleasant. beer was good.
My husband, son and I showed up 30 minutes before they evened opened (not realizing they weren’t open yet). They opened the door for us, were more than happy to pour us a beer, and let us sit to enjoy the atmosphere. We always loved this place when we lived in Hickory and were very satisfied with our service during our return visit. Highly recommend!! Delicious beer and excellent service.
Great place to relax! Their events are amazing as well!!

City Walk Brewing & Distilling is a great addition to downtown with a vibe that is very Asheville. The craft beer selection includes a delicious Strawberry Milkshake IPA and Fallen Arch IPA, perfect for enjoying in the open and airy outdoor seating area. The outdoor space is very relaxed, with heaters installed for cooler weather, making it a great spot to hang out with family and dogs. The friendly staff works like a well-oiled machine, providing quick service and excellent guest care. While the pontoon and boiled peanuts were not a hit, the welcoming atmosphere and clean brewery make up for any issues. Visitors can also schedule a tour of the distillery. This dog-friendly spot is a must-visit for beer lovers and snack enthusiasts alike.
