Usually the toppings are what makes a hotdog good, but these hotdogs themselves bring enough flavor to the party and would be quite enjoyable even if you ate them plain! “I LOVE their shakes. They have such a huge selection of shakes it makes my head spin. Their food is good too. I like the peanut butter and chocolate chip milkshake. It's my go to whenever I get the urge for a milkshake. It may be busy, so be prepared to wait in line. But the line moves really quick, so don't drive off. I was able to get in and out in about 15 minutes total. “This is hands down my favorite restaurant in Hickory. Not only is the food delicious, but the owner has gone out of her way to offer an entire menu to people like myself who cannot have gluten. Going to a restaurant nowadays and looking to see if anything is gluten free is always a toss up. Charlie Granger's is the only place where I can come and feel like I can order as a normal person. Getting a burger and fries may not seem like a big deal, but for someone like me who usually can't do it, eating at Charlie Grangers's is a dream come true. All the food is delicious regardless if it's gluten free or not. My wife loves the shrimp burger, and my in laws love the hot dogs. So give this place a try.
