“This I was craving a real New York hot dog and finally checked out this small hotdog stand in the middle of uptown. Honestly, it was the closest I've gotten to a proper NYC dog since staying here – definitely worth a try, a Charlotte hidden gem.“

“A DELICIOUS hidden gem! Went for lunch around 1pm, and even though it was empty, we were greeted immediately, and the waitress was super friendly and efficient. This diner is a grocery store as well and had a few drink items as well as household goods to purchase. As expected, the food was amazing! We ordered a Philly double patty cheeseburger, crispy chicken sandwich, and a double chili dog. The fries were the best. Warm and crispy and never took a bite from a soggy fry. It does give a back in the day vibe, but when I tell you these spots are always the best, they truly are. We will definitely be back and try other things from their menu. It's definitely a great lunch spot. They have parking right in the front, I can see there being limited spaces during rush hour, but nothing bad that should deter you from coming.“
