“I had Nashville Hot Chicken - in Nashville - a few years ago, and this is the closest I've ever come to that in NC.

This review is actually a few months old - and I've only made it back once since my first taste - but I think about this place regularly and want to go back.

I got the 'stoopid hot' sandwich both times and it takes... a while... to eat it. Too much time contemplating all the right choices I made to get there between bites.

There also happens to be beer nearby.

The balance between spicy and tasty chicken is on point, so it's not just 'we threw carolina reaper powder on it' hot. And the chicken isn't sauced, it's all in the marinade or breading. I have to assume they have a tiny bowl of two 'stoopid' chickens in the cooler they make every day for the weirdos like me.

Parking is free for the first 1.5hrs with an app setup. There's a ton of side-street parking nearby if you're up for a small walk. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating.“

Excellent chicken which I’d liken to Dave’s Hot Chicken but would perhaps rate slightly higher. Food out of the truck was fresh, hot, and pleasant service too from the guy working. Solid execution on a sandwich with two huge filets, pickles, grilled bun, and cheese. Also came with two sauces by default which is a huge plus. Pricing was reasonable too considering it was a food truck and the quality/portions I got.“

“When I go to New York for work, 85% of my meals are at a halal cart. Halal Cart University absolutely stands with the best of what I've had in NYC. The meat and white sauce were both even more flavorful than I've gotten at other halal carts.

I enjoy my hot off the grill Cheesesteak today at “Chucks Cheesesteak.” I won’t say it’s the best in CLT but it’s relatively good. It’s definitely a good steak sandwich on your day off. Yes, you need to walk this off until you release. The Food Truck scared me a bit, but I watched him while he prepared the food and he has a Grade A placard. It’s definitely not rushed so, get your car washed while your steak is freshly made.“

It took a few minutes, but that’s because they were getting everything ready fresh. The food came out super hot and smelled so good. It’s some of the best lo mein I’ve ever had.

They actually have a wide variety of grabbing meals that you can pick up in the store as well as a bunch of international snacks that I got a chance to try. Highly recommended, I’ll definitely be back.“

“This taco truck is quite literally one of my favorite places to get tacos in Charlotte. When Iived in lower South End, I could drive a few minutes up the road to grab some tacos from them & it would be the best quick lunch.

Not only were they well priced, the service was swift and pretty easy to order even if you don't speak great spanish or anything.

You can also call in an order and pick up pretty fast, all while waiting in the comfort of your car.

Parking isn't great, but that's to be expected from a taco truck. All I can tell you, is if you want a solid taco experience, give this truck a try!“

“Eduardo was at the Chef Store yesterday getting supplies. I was there too. In my haste I left my wallet in the shopping cart and drove off. Eduardo found it and his wife called me giving me the address of the food truck. I went to their location and retrieved the wallet from him this afternoon. While this review doesn't speak to their food, it says much about the integrity of the men that operate this food truck. Best pastor tacos I've ever had, and so big it could barely fit in the dang tortilla. Red sauce was bomb! And the watermelon drink, on point. 12/10 HIGHLY recommend. Will be my new go to spot.
