“Dinner was amazing! Guitar soloist entertained the lovely bistro. The pistachio encrusted halibut was delicious. I had them substitute rice for mixed vegetables. The portion was generous! We also had the strip with green beans and whipped potatoes. Best meal we have had in Shelby in sometime. The atmosphere was busting but not overcrowded. Will go back more often!“
“Their food is wonderful. I am amazed especially with the steak. They don't cut corners when it comes to a great meal and getting full. The manager and staff and employees are always friendly and helpful. This is my number one go to spot for some big pieces of steak. That's the main thing I go there for. They have other great food as well... But your steak is great and mouthwatering... They give you a generous amount of food... And not no little piece of steak either... They give a big nice juice piece of whole steak which is great when you love steak and are hungry. I don't just love the steak, I also love the oakra and the sweet tea is very good too.. I highly recommend this place. Its located in Shelby NC. Try it out. You won't regret it. Their food is very good and you'll leave happy and full. ?“
“The family that owns and runs Kelly’s Seafood is a Christian family and examples of what Christianity is supposed to be. The food is always scrumptious, made to order, and relatively fast for how busy they stay. The service is always impeccable and friendly. I highly recommend Kelly’s Seafood to anyone who enjoys amazing seafood which they will fry hard or regular according to your order. Don’t forget to try the pies! They also have hats, shirts, and sweatshirts that are available for purchase at the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Many restaurants look down on you for bringing kids in with you. Not these guys. They remember your kids and address them most of the time by name. They speak to your kids and make them feel special. This restaurant with their amazing staff is what every restaurant should be. If your kids are fussy, they go out of the way to talk to them and calm them which is amazing!“
“Got there right after they opened and the place was quiet, clean and welcoming. Server was nice, polite, attentive and helpful. The food was fresh, hot and amazing. That was our first time eating in the establishment and we were very pleased and will definitely be returning. Great food and service for your money.“
“This place looks like nothing special, a little run down even, but it looked like there was some home cooked food inside, so we decided to give it a try. We were waited on by a hard working kid who I'm guessing was about 10 or 11 years old. My son and I both loved our food. I got a gyro, and my son got chicken tenders with homemade ranch. He said the ranch was really good. He didn't even realize it was homemade at the time. The tzatziki sauce in the gyro was also super fresh and delicious. The fries were shoestring with seasoning sprinkled on. I would pick this place over all the fast food chains any day.“
“Omg the sea food platter was delicious!!! Best hush puppies ever and the stuff crab was so fresh just full of flavor. Homemade tater sauce and coleslaw. The cook even brought another one out since the platter only came with one. So we both would have one. I'm telling you we enjoyed every bit of the platter. The atmosphere was so laid back and comfortable. Don't let this side of the road restaurant fool you it's been around along time and is a staple to the local community between Kings Mountain and Grover NC. “Great food and a very friendly staff! We did not take pictures today but will add some since we will be repeat customers. This place is very clean and organized. The food is fresh and delicious. They don’t lack on serving size and flavor. It is pretty busy come Friday, Saturday, Sunday but that is usual for the area.“
