“Excellent steak! Their menu is fantastic and offers a wide selection. Shelby is fortunate to have this dining experience. Nothing on the boulevard or any of the local golf courses even slightly compares! Don't get "taken in" by another fly by night chain restaurant either! The quality and atmosphere of this restaurant are unparalleled and unsurpassed in Cleveland County! The value is exceptional!”

“Took my wife out for our anniversary at Ruby Tuesday’s on July 14th. I ordered 1/2 rack ribs with fries and she ordered a hamburger, two salad bars, and tea. The total bill including a tip was $50.00. The Berger and salad was good, but th ribs were tough and dry and possibly left over from earlier and warmed over. I have eaten ribs before at the same place and always good.”

“I travel for a living and eat at restaurants all over the country every day. This is by far the very best quick service restaurant I've ever visited. I was greeted when I walked in by 2 smiling young ladies who were very polite and welcoming. The booth I sat at was spotlessly clean. My food was delivered quickly and was perfectly prepared. I was checked on several times during my visit by the folks working the dining area to make sure I was taken care of. This kind of quick serve dining experience dissolved in most places long ago, but this restaurant has brought it back in spades. Extremely great experience. Nice job, Shomars Shelby. “I was visiting Shelby NC and came across a very quaint buffet restaurant. I was politely greeted at the register by Jakhia‘s smiling face. The owner Jeff was kind and seemed very happy to see new faces. As we ate our meal, Julissa visited our table to ensure we had everything we needed.

The best part of my visit was when a wonderfully cheerful Momma J stopped by each table to thank the patrons for dinning at this restaurant. Momma J explained she was the mother of the owner and volunteered every Saturday evening.

The atmosphere of the restaurant made me feel as though I was dinning with close friends. The food was tasty, the restaurant was clean and inviting.”

The dining area has that down to earth feeling with natural wood grains and what resembles homemade wooded lighting shades around the perimeter and hanging lighting.

It does get busy at peak periods, so you may try to plan your stop just prior to post traditional meal times.

The food is always hot (or fresh in the instance of salads, your salad will not be hot unless you ask for it to be), and the staff is always very good at what they do. “Our office ordered a huge variety of muffins for some of our offices that we deal with...The manager was awesome!! She had each box packed up for us when we picked the order up. She even included napkins & plates in each box!
She showed us how she packaged the boxes & made sure we were happy with it before we left. She helped us to the car with all our boxes. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking, doors not too heavy. Restroom doors are heavy and 2 stalls, one with a rail. Small. Toliets low to ground. Very!”

“I just stopped by the jive turkey cafe to try out breakfast and let me tell you, do yourself a favor and stop in and grab a bite, you won't regret it! my breakfast quesadilla is delicious! Don't sleep on this cafe because it is in the college, it is open to the public and the food is fantastic!”

“The quality difference between here and your typical chain restaurant pizza is huge. The dough itself you can tell is fresh and you definitely eat the crust as opposed to throwing it away”

“Today I called to see if they had any chocolate chip cookies which I love. The guy said no but he would bake me some and they would be ready by 3. I went in and they were so kind. The afternoon shift always is. They are SUPERB. The lady there,who is so friendky and wonderful, asked me if I was in a hurry and I said no. When my cookies cooled down she wrapped all 15 of them and brought them to me. I love the CUSTOMER SERVICE THE FOOD AND THE COOKIES!!!FABULOUS!?”

Pretty much always got the same few things when I worked at the GameStop next to them, so I was really glad that when I went to check them out for the first time that they had some really good food. Logistics control is weak. Placement of product... put someplace and leave it there so I can find it again. Electric carts should remain INSIDE the store. Transmitters in the posts outside the doors emit a signal to receivers on the carts that shut the cart down before it gets within 1 foot of the doors. The cart will only go in reverse so it can go to parking/charging. Who needs the cart next can use it because it's there.”
