We just happened upon the restaurant from a google search, and could have been more satisfied. “I'd like to share my visit to Izzi'Que Barbecue Restaurant & Pub. The restaurant was in downtown Shelby and it had a picturesque storefront.
Upon entering I was promptly greeted. The main dining room was tastefully & comfortably laid out for a relaxing evening.
I decided to try the bar area which was laid out quie nice with lots of music memorabilia. The
bartender-K. served me a frosty michelob and took my order. She was friendly and kept a good check on me. The owner T. was very cordial and offered up one of their fabulous deviled eggs to top off my meal. It was a great pleasure to find this gem of a restaurant and will come back soon.
I recommend Issi'Que for your dining pleasure.”

“My daughter and I visited the Japanese Express in Shelby for the first time today to try something new. The staff was very polite and informative there wasn't anywhere to sit and eat there which was a bummer but this food was OUTSTANDING! Will absolutely recommend ?”

“Early birthday dinner. We had reservations but noticed empty chairs at the bar, so we told the hostess we'd prefer to sit at the bar. Best decision! Nicky at the barcwas incredible. She was slammed and still personally stuffed the olives with blue cheese for our martinis. She guided us through the menu and helped us pick the best appetizers and entrees. She also let us try some wines before we picked one to complement our meals. We had the Cha cha shrimp and mussels for appetizers and the filet and crab cakes for our mains. Nickel made the whole experience special.”

“My wife and I visited Shelby for the first time. We just recently moved to NC. We Googled restaurants in inthe area and found Toscanos, and thought we'd give it a try. When we entered, the restaurant is inviting with tables and very large booths, and jazz playing overhead. My wife and I were seated at a table. She ordered a glass of wine, and me the designated driver, an ice tea.

The menu has plenty of choices, and there are also chalk board selections as you enter the restaurant.

My wife ordered a combination pasta (spaghetti ) with sausage, peppers, and mushrooms with a red sauce.
I had the chicken pasta with a creamy garlic sauce, spinach and sun dried tomatoes.
Because we were hungry, we also ordered an artichoke dip and we wanted to sample the soup of the day, " Lasagna Soup."

Our entrees both came with a very generous salad and garlic bread. Had we known any better, we probably would have skipped the other items, because this was plenty of food.

Everything we ordered was very good. The salads, soup, artichoke dip, garlic bread, and especially our pasta dishes.

I believe our server was Taylor, and she was very kind and attentive, as well as the gentleman that was busing the tables.
We enjoyed our meal, and we'll definitely return to try other menu items.”

“Our office ordered a huge variety of muffins for some of our offices that we deal with...The manager was awesome!! She had each box packed up for us when we picked the order up. She even included napkins & plates in each box!
She showed us how she packaged the boxes & made sure we were happy with it before we left. She helped us to the car with all our boxes. Have already heard from some of the offices muffins were Great!! Will definitely do business again & can't wait till cooler weather so we can try some hot chocolate! Great experience!!”

The afternoon shift always is. They are SUPERB. The lady there,who is so friendky and wonderful, asked me if I was in a hurry and I said no. When my cookies cooled down she wrapped all 15 of them and brought them to me. I love the CUSTOMER SERVICE THE FOOD AND THE COOKIES!!!FABULOUS!?”

“We are from Asheville and were in Shelby on our way to Charlotte to try and find supplies. Somehow we ended up driving by Wendy's and noticed they were open. We stopped in and they were really busy but that was no biggy. They are fast, efficient, and had our food to us quickly. We opted to dine in to avoid the long drive thru line and it was a good idea.”

“I don't think I've ever been to a starbucks with rude staff! This Starbucks staff was incredibly friendly as well! (I wish I got her name) But the cashier who got my order said that she also feels awkward ordering and it made me feel SO much better!
The coffee was also delicious!”

“First time I had ever been to an Arby’s, I have to say I was somewhat impressed. The roast beef was meh but the service was fast, the restaurant was very clean, and the fries were incredible. They were curly which is cool, the fries were actually crispy unlike most fast food restaurants. They were seasoned and could easily be eaten without sauces. The Horsey sauce was new to me and it was just weird. Won’t eat that again. I’d say Arby’s is pretty good.

“The food is good. But they are a little princess. I got 2 chicken tinder plates and a chicken sandwich comb, and the tickle box. And it was over $50.00. It will be a while before I take the kids back. And I didn't get my extra biscuit. That was the second time that happened.”

“The atmosphere is a bit better than most places, and the food is definitely great. I will say that one time they left out the Feastable from my Mr.Beast box, but aside from that I've had no negative experiences with these guys. Food has always been hot (scorching even), staff has always been super polite, and I have found that this place is great if you just want to hang out with friends or family. Overall, pretty good food and a pretty chill environment.”
