“Very disappointed in this location. Went to the cow event and my 3 year old wanted a picture/hug with the cow. the cow didn't pay her any attention and barely stayed out before returning to the back. then I tried to order food and the cashier said she would be right back. when she returned she skipped me and my kids when we was trying to order and started taking the people behind us order. we left and took our business to another restaurant.”

“I am a pregnant mom of 4. I haven't been able to cook much recently due to nausea especially with the smell of cooking food.
The manager Eddie went above and beyond my expectations tonight. The food was delicious and he exhibited excellent customer service when an issue arose with my delivery tonight.
He made my food fresh and even included the original order for the inconvenience. Perfect for lunch for the kiddos tomorrow while they are out of school.
He was super friendly and showed real empathy and he alone is reason enough to return to this Papa John's!!
You never know how much one interaction can change someone's life or day but as long as you have employees like Eddie you will continue to be contributing to the good in the world.

“Excellent menu good old down home cooking. I had the pull pork. Wife had the Reuben sandwich. She said it was the best reuben sandwich she had ever eaten food was excellent definitely eating here again 😁”

“When I need to boost my entire day I just spend a minute in this sweet shop. From the customer service to the actual food there is no better experience. Period. The caramel crack cake is the most delicious thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. 11/10 place.”

“Amazing prices on coffee if you just get a plain iced coffee, then you’ll pay like $2-4 more or less but cheaper than the chains on the highway, great local mom and pop shop, it’s easy to order at the window facing Marion St then on the other side is where you pay and get your items but be careful if you have a big truck the lane is kinda narrow for big trucks (ex. Dually) but amazing service and kudos to the youngsters working there.”

“We actually live in Douglasville Georgia but found Pfieffers when we come to Shelby to visit family. We absolutely love it and Friday lunch is our first stop. My husband loves th Reuben and I love the cranberry chicken salad. I kidded our daughter that we couldn’t come out the week after Christmas because you are closed that week.”

“My wife and I stopped into Ken & Mary’s restaurant for lunch. They serve breakfast and lunch . Breakfast all day . That’s what we got ! Delicious! They also have a buffet like option where you can pick out your meat and like two vegetables. Sundays they have a large buffet!
If you’re in Shelby NC stop in and give them a go ! You will be glad you did !! Our waitress was the best !!!

“Hands down best seafood and service I have had! Huge portions, one person can eat on it for 3 meals. Thickest whitefish Ive had. Firecracker shrimp was delicious. The wait staff was wonderful with my autistic toddler who can be a little difficult in restaurants. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars!!!!”

“We were in town and stopped here because the menu seemed to have something for everyone in our group. Everything we ordered was so good! Pizza, a wrap, and I had the spinach artichoke dip - probably the best I've ever had! The brown sugar on the breadsticks appetizer was a little much but next time we would just get light or none.

Shay was our server and she was great. Food came out quickly and the atmosphere was relaxed. Didn't drink but they had a nice selection of drafts. Would definitely go back and recommend!”

“This is our go-to place every Monday except for when they are closed or if something else is going on. They are just a little laid-back small town joint. Everyone who works there is always super nice. It can get a little crowded sometimes during lunch hour, but we always manage to find a spot. They also have a covered picnic area if you like to eat outside. Food is always delicious. The BBQ is the best in town (sorry to both Bridges lovers). Burgers are excellent, and so are the hot dogs. I highly recommend it. They only take cash, though, if you have never been.”

“Came in on a Friday with a friend and had a genuinely great time. That bar they built is something else, creek rocks, blue streak running down the length of it, lights underneath. Really cool. Got the tiger chicken nachos and a burger, both were really good. Service was attentive without being in your face. Good music, cold drinks. Uptown Shelby needed a spot like this.”
