“Husband saw this place while doing business a few days before in town and wanted to bring me here . Stopped in to have a late lunch on way to Brevard for the weekend. Our food was good .. only issue is that the waitress brought our food and then didn’t check back until she brought the check .. we got up got our own napkins and to go cups finally. Wasn’t busy in there and saw at least 3 waitresses around. My husband still left a great tip as he usually does and says maybe because we came in at 3 pm was why. 4 stars due to service.”

“Where do I start? The service, the atmosphere and the food are *chefs kiss*. First, you get fresh baked bread which is hot and garlicky and perfect. We got the mozzarella fritte and I just can’t believe how FRESH everything tastes here! Is this what real food is like? I’m so used to microwaved stuff from Olive Garden and Applebees that this… it’s unspeakably good. The value is amazing. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. I got the tortellini soup and margherita chicken pesto pasta. Look, I don’t even like sausage and that sausage in that soup was SO GOOD. Everything was so fresh, hot and tasty. Do yourself a favor and get the Caesar salad. It’s honestly the best Caesar dressing I’ve ever had in my life. You can taste all the different flavors in it. I can’t say enough good things about Babbo. We’ll definitely be back. I’ve worked in restaurants for a long time and you can tell the staff work well together as a team, which means it’s great leadership as well. 10/10 would recommend. Come here, you won’t regret it!”

“Really good food. Not expensive.Spake's is not a fancy place. Tables ,chairs and the booths are old but sturdy. It is kept very clean. Friendly atmosphere. I love to eat there.Their hotdogs are one of my favorites. I also like their chicken livers.Different sandwiches on the menu. Also a meat and three.”

“The donuts were absolutely delicious!! It is drive-thru only, so there isn’t really an “atmosphere” per se. By the time we got there, around 10, and they were out of several donuts. My suggestion is get there as soon as they open for the best selection. The kid running the drive-thru was less than enthusiastic. Next time I’m in Forest City I will give them another try.”

“A bit pricey per perspn, but it's a nice buffet to choose from. Love that you can get steak, mushrooms, chicken, etc and they cook it for you on a flat top. The owner is really nice also. Decent selection of dessert and fruit to pick from. Food ranges from cheese aricks, to egg rolls, to pizza, to seafood, and noodles, chicken, pepper steak, etc.”

The food is fresh and good, but the outstanding service we received from Melinda is the reason for this 5 star rating. She was so sweet and helpful, will definitely return during our time here.”

“This place is awesome. Food is always good and hot. Service could be a little faster but I know not to go here if I’m in a hurry. But food has always been top notch. Never had to wait for a seat more than 5 mins. Pricing I think is pretty fair. Highly recommend giving this place a shot.”
