Sushi Bars in Shelby

“First time at Sumo Sushi & Hibachi and we had a really great experience!

It’s a smaller spot, but clearly very popular there were a lot of takeout orders coming in while we dined in, which says a lot about how busy they stay.

Our server Zo was amazing. Super attentive, friendly, and on top of everything without being overbearing. She really made the experience even better hey Zo, you rock girl!

We ordered spring rolls, shrimp fried rice, and the Monica roll. Everything came out fresh and was really good. Only thing I was missing was a little chili oil for some extra heat, lol.

The only thing I would note is I wasn’t informed about a credit card fee before paying I may have missed it, but I did notice my total change when I went to sign and had to ask about it.

Overall, still a solid first visit and we’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu.“
