“Belissima! Vibes and decorè, unmatched! Its sexy, sleak, and a lil sultry. The back lighting at night is gorgeous. It creates a very intimate vibe. The food is small plates so don't belive you're going to feast. My only draw back was flavor. When it said SPICE I was expecting an indulgent amount of SPICE with unique flavor compliments. Being internationally inspired I guess I was reaching. I will say that the food presentation was beautiful.“

It was my birthday and they very kindly recommended a great bottle of sake, even letting us taste it beforehand! To top it off, they gave me a free dessert at the end with a cute little candle! “I stopped by this sushi bar recently and had what might be the best sushi experience of my life. The two chefs, Ikadek and Ardi, were absolute masters behind the counter. Despite the language barrier (they speak very little English), their warmth, smiles, and passion for what they do came through loud and clear. They took such pride in every piece they prepared — the fish was incredibly fresh, the flavors perfectly balanced, and the presentation beautiful. It was some of the most delicious sushi I’ve ever had.
What really blew us away was their incredible generosity. They comped most of our order and kept treating us to extra pieces. It felt like we were guests in their home rather than customers at a restaurant. Their kindness turned a simple meal into a memorable experience.
If you love authentic, high-quality sushi made with heart, you have to come here and sit at the bar with Ikadek and Ardi. They’re the real deal. Thank you both — I’ll be back very soon!“

“Awesome food and service, over 15 visits, this time it was the sushi , tuna and scallops sashimi, very good and fresh , also had vegetable spring roll, also very good, before i had the Tangerine chicken , similar to Orange chicken , with pork fried rice which is the best in the area, also like Ocean Roll, Fresh and very good, I had the General Tao shrimp , shrimp was jumbo, sauce was good , prices are reasonable, awesome service every time we go, 5 stars for the best Sushi, and service in area, so glad they are back open, thank you !“

“Not a sushi girl BUT they have so much more. The vibe is flirty and sexy with intimate charm. BTW love the Cherry Blossom Trees. We ordered a lot. Coconut Fire Shrimp, Garden and Tempura Rolls, Mushroom and Salmon Yakitiri, Goyza, Truffle Fries, Garlic Butter noodles, Plum wine, Crane Returns, Melon Smash and Koi Pond. It was delicious. Everything was bursting with flavor. The garlic noods were bomb. We used them to tie the Yakitori together. Service is extremely fast too!“

“The food was excellent, truly very good, my personal favorite was the Louisiana roll, the service was solid, a bit slow, but quality takes time!

Unfortunately, it was unbearably warm inside, I'm not one to complain, but it was warm enough we had to change our order to go and eat in a hotel room.

But, that is either a seasonal problem, or an equipment problem, don't let it dissuade you from visiting!“

“It is without exaggeration that I say this is my favorite restaurant in the Charlotte area. You can tell the level of care and detail the food is consistently prepared with. Everything is always just right, from the house made salad dressing, to the breading on the pork, even down to the ramen being just the right thickness and consistency. The servers are always prompt and courteous and the portions are always generous too. I genuinely can’t recommend this place enough, I just wish they were open on Tuesdays.“

“The only reservation I could get was at 4:30, so we did the early bird special and went up the stairs to Uchiba! I think they have done a great job getting new stores and restaurants in this new area of Plaza Midwood. We had high hopes for Uchiba and they really delivered on all categories. The space itself wasn’t huge and had almost as much space outside as in. The servers were great and very conscientious about allergies. The food was amazing. The dishes were well paced. We didn’t feel rushed or worried that they forgot us. Uchiba is a great addition to the Charlotte food scene.“

“Ru San's is tucked away in the Dilworth neighborhood at the corner of McDonald avenue and Park road. It has a great selection of sushi, and Japanese dishes. The restaurant has plenty of table seating inside or on the patio to accommodate large parties. When you get your food be ready for an amazing presentation of fresh food that is absolutely delicious. They don't skimp on portion size. You get a lot for the price, so it's a great deal. I've had poke bowls before but this one was mouthwatering. When I left my eyes were bigger than my stomach. If you want food that is extremely tasty and satisfying go to Ru San's!“

“This is one of the BEST Thai restaurants I have been to. First of all the food is delicious. I ordered their General Tso chicken. The chicken was not hard and crunchy it was soft and tasty and I had more on my plate than I could eat. They give you plenty. The sushi was fresh. The waiter was friendly and attentive to our needs

“Spectacular. The decor is gorgeous. Perfect for a date night. The food is absolutely a 5 out of 5. My husband had the Thai version of a hot and sour soup. You can adjust the heat. It’s better than any hot and sour soup he’s had at any Asian restaurant. You’ve got to try it. I had for my main course the mixed-seafood salad. The seafood, all of the vegetables, the texture, the dressing- Absolute perfection. It’s what I was hoping for and it exceeded any expectations that I had. My husband ordered the
Pad Telay- a mixed seafood and vegetable dish that was outstanding, as well, and we shared the classic pad Thai with tofu - the flavor and presentation were incomparable- even the way they prepared the tofu - browned & caramelized to complement the flavors in the pad Thai. We definitely have a new favorite restaurant. We dined there for our 37th wedding anniversary. Decided to try it for the first time and so glad that we did. Also, our server was extremely attentive and sweet..“

“Tight entrance-exit lanes. Nice inside one way up/down lanes so you don’t have to cross other vehicles on tight turns going floor to floor. Easy fast down “twistie” lane on side of building to get to ground floor. Lots of open space even during week days in upper floors. Spaces are not particularly spacious.“

The servers were nice enough but kind of awkward. Food was decent for fushion/American style Asian - a tad on the overly sweet and salty side. I liked the kalbi and sashimi was pretty fresh (though choices for types of fish were limited).“
