“I have lived in Charlotte for almost 10 years. Been to every restaurant - both expensive affordable. Pho van is by FAR, my wife and i’s favorite restaurant.

The soup that will cure any cold, the grilled pork chop to make you salivate, the staff so kind and friendly. It holds a special place in our heart.“

“phenomenal. I just went and everything from the customer service to the food is amazing. If i could give more than 5 starts than i would . If they where to not have any supporters/customer than i would be dead. I tried Pho Tai, Spring rolls and quail. Phenomenal. I love spicy food so the sauce you ask for the pho was AMAZING too. Sweet tea was great, they kept refilling too :) Customer service was so great that we got wine at closing since it was already 10PM. THE SWEETEST PEOPLE EVER🩷 if you need a new fav spot this is it . “We decided to try this place based on a recommendation & it didn’t disappoint. We had different types of phos & were very flavorful in their own way. There were many other dishes that looked appetizing & we’ll be coming back to try them. Saigon Night definitely isn’t just a karaoke bar anymore. It’s also a great place for authentic Vietnamese cuisine. I wish I had discovered this place sooner so don’t miss out like I did & give this place a shot. You’re welcome in advance.“

“Honestly this placed surprised me, not because of its authenticity of Vietnamese food but the uniqueness and daring blend of cultures, especially with the banh mi steak and eggs.

I loved the grilled pork with rice plate, and the banh mi with pate steak and eggs that you can DIY how much you want to put in the bread. We also had the shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce, but I wish the shrimp was a whole.

Though, the bun bo hue was good, but wish it was more savory and authentic with its flavors.

Overall though, we had a great experience from the moment we stepped in. Would come back and try other dishes!“

“Okay this banh mi from Kim Anh straight up hit! Bread was crispy on the outside, soft inside, no soggy bites or anything weird. Filling was fresh, good crunch from the pickled veggies, nice kick of spice, didn’t feel skimpy at all. Honestly one of the better banh mi spots I’ve tried in Charlotte. Already thinking about going back this week lol.“

“This was the best meal I have had in a while! My banh mi was absolutely delicious—it was tender, crunchy, so flavorful and the bread was the perfect chewy, crispy baguette. I ate it in the parking lot in my car—I wanted a taste before I went back to work and ended up eating the whole thing like a mannerless beast. I’m not sorry, either. I would do it again. I am currently trying to get every last boba in my milk tea. It’s that good!! Go get some…now. Really, do it now.“

“This place should be more obvious because it was AMAZING. I usually go to the tea house across the street for banh mi but they are closed on Wednesday but I really had a hunger for one. This restaurant is literally right across the street. Don't let the appearance deter you, the most unassuming things and places can surprise you. i had the grilled pork and it was by far the best banh mi I have EVER had. If you are spending less than $10 (which is really easy to do) then bring cash for the courtesy of the owners so they aren't hit with stupid over charges. Otherwise cards are fine. Will definitely be coming back.“

The staff is always accommodating ( we added 4 extra people at the last minute), they were so friendly bringing up an extra table & chairs. “I got #13 with shrimp, BBQ Pork and chicken. I got a medium and I had a lot of leftovers. The shrimp summer roll was excellent . The food was great. Thai tea was was good too, not too sweet . I went there on a Friday evening and it wasn't crowded at all so I would call this a hidden gem for sure. The food came quick. Our server Tim was great. He was helpful and friendly and even helped us pack our leftovers.“

“I had lunch here on 1/7/22 and it will be my last time eating at this restaurant unless changes are made. The restaurant was slow with only us and one other table at time. A 3rd group of 3 came in with a dog. The server asked if it was a service dog and the guest replied yes and offered to go back to the car and get the dogs vest. The server said they didn't need that but made them sit by the garage door and continued to ask them questions about the dog and if they had some type of ID or card as proof. He then opened the garage door while it was 47 outside. Everyone in the restaurant was cold, one couple got up and moved and we just wrapped things up without finishing our lunch but especially that group who was now basically left sitting outside. They tried to explain what was and wasnt allowed when it came to service animals and were nice to the server and told him they understood when he said he was new and would need to ask the owner but he just kept saying this is what his owner told him he had to do and left the huge door open and everyone in the cold. They ended up leaving, then the server came around and tried to blame them for the poor treatment and said they were using offensive language.. ( the restaurant is tiny I was only 1 table away and they were very nice the whole time even when they expressed their disappointment in the way it was being handled they were not rude) This isnt the way anyone with a service dog or any sort of handicap should be treated. We wont be coming back until this place can figure out how to treat people fairly and with dignity and respect.“
