“Food is really good. The pho broth was rich and well seasoned. The rice plates are really good. Some of the best in the rice.The service is really good. You don't have to flag someone down for service because they will check up on you and give you refill. But beware, some of their waitstaff are loud, vibrant and can come off as pushy and bossy. But they're probably just trying to be helpful. Some of the customers there seemed to enjoy that part.The dining room was larger I expected. It's alot bigger inside than on the outside. Definitely has a cozy feel.If you come by and can't find parking in the front then drive to the back as there are more parking spaces in the back.The only thing that I did not quite like were the prices per the portions. If the prices came down $1-2/the items on the menu then this place would be exceptional and I would have no complaints.“
“Hau Doan is the owner of this establishment. I worked with him in corporate America before he opened the restaurant. Hau is good people and he truly cares about his staff and customers. His recipes have been handed down over generations. His parents escaped the Vietnam war and came to America to build a better life. His mother brought many of his recipes with her with only her memory to bring them to life along with Hau’s unique spin. “I have visited this place with some time to kill and I had the mango mason jar. I love the fruit in the mason jar and also the decorated fruit. This is a great drink. Definitely get it and also the guy at the front on the register was very nice to me that we go to the spot if you like Boba or tea it was very pretty inside as well which I really enjoyed. “I ordered the pork sandwich (#6) and the Le's Combination Sandwich (#1) for my husband. It tastes like a very authentic Banhmi sandwich. It was also so delicious!! The young man was super kind. I also ordered the Mocha coffee Slush & the Mango Slush. It was delicious as well :) This place took 40 minutes from our home, but it was definitely worth driving.“

“Been here twice and hasn't disappointed! Don't expect anything fancy this is a hole in the wall type of place, which I find usually have the best food. The lady who works here is so sweet and is super attentive. Last time I ordered the tripe pho, the broth was flavorful and the veggies were very fresh. This time I got the pork vermicelli and it was so good. They didn't skimp on the meat and it was a good split between fatty and lean, charred to perfection. It was a big portion and my fiancé had to help me finish it. We also tried the pickled lemon juice which was interesting, it tasted like pickle juice + lemonade which honestly was good post-run. Overall this is a consistently good vietnamese place that we will be coming back to!“
“Like its South Blvd location this joint creates an excellent variety of banh mi. I had the pork and it was very tasty. The fried tofu is fried perfectly. Not at all greasy. The seating area only has four tables. Also serves up soup and noodles. Everything is very reasonably priced for the area. Sanitation score was 97.5 and service was friendly and attentive.“

“Cilantro Noodle was excellent. Located in the heart of Plaza Midwood. Atmosphere was clean and trendy. I really liked the option of having two kiosks to place your own orders. “South Boulevard continues to produce some of the most diverse restaurants in the city, and this one is no exception! First, to be clear, if you are not paying attention, you will miss this location. It is tucked into a very nondescript section of South Boulevard, and shares a parking lot with a laundromat and a grocery store called compare market. So you may want to slow down as you get closer to the location so you don't miss the turn off. At 7 PM, the restaurant was mostly empty with two other tables occupied, but by the time we left, every table was full with another party walking in. Even given the traffic, the restaurant is very quiet, clean, and well lit. This is a very extensive menu with quite a few dishes that I was not familiar with. So we relied on previous Yelp, reviewers for help, and they did not disappoint! For starters, we tried the Mongolian fries, which I may not be correctly naming. Matter of fact, I don't remember all of the specific names of each dish, so I will just describe them in the best way that I can. For entrées, we had the brisket and short rib pho as well as the broken rice and pork chop house special. I was not familiar with broken rice, so after asking the waiter about the dish, I decided to try it. It was a really generous portion of meat and rice, with an over easy egg on top, accompanied by another egg soufflé, type side, some greens and veggies. Everything was really good, well seasoned and especially fragrant with Thai spices. The pork chop was moist and perfectly cooked, and the flavor was outstanding. And for my first time tasting broken rice, I really enjoyed it. The texture wasn't too different from regular short grain or long grain rice but again the flavor is what made the difference here. The highlight of the meal was definitely the pho. Probably one of the best bowls I've had in a while. Extremely flavorful broth, and the short rib was tender enough to pull the meat off with a fork. And unlike other Thai restaurants, they didn't overload us with add-on ingredients. Just enough, basil, bean sprouts and jalapeño slices to enhance the bowl's already flavorful ingredients. One additional highlight I need to mention is the outstanding service. We were waited on by both owners, and every time they approached the table, they asked how we were enjoying things and offered suggestions when asked. My lady had the Thai coffee, and was so in love with it, she saved half of it to take home for breakfast the next morning! And to top everything off, the restaurant is a real value. We paid a total of approximately $60 including the tip. We will definitely be back again soon!“
