“I’ve visited Thailand several times, so I’m pretty picky when it comes to Thai food. I can honestly say that this restaurant serves one of the most authentic Tom Yum soups I’ve had outside of Thailand. The flavors were incredibly close to what I remember from my trips—rich, aromatic, perfectly balanced, and absolutely delicious.

The service was excellent as well. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit.

It’s not easy to find Thai food that truly captures the flavors of Thailand, but this place does an amazing job. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine.“

“Lunch dash. The restaurant was big and open with lots of seats. I purposely came for lunch. Their lunch menu is vast with most entreè about $3 cheaper than dinner. I prefer smaller portions but these seem to be regular sized. Typically Im a Fried rice or Pad Thai girl but today I tried the Drunken Noods and Spicy Wonton. They both were just OK. Im not sure what I was expecting. The noods were stick together and dry, the veggies huge and over all flavor lacking. Im not going to give a poor review on food that I've not had before. It wouldn't be fair. I have been to other locations and typically ordered the same thing. Not sure why I was trying to be fancy this time. The staff was sweet. Pretty chill and up beat. I can't rave about the food but the location is great.“

“I really enjoy the food at Thai House, especially the Pad Thai I ordered during my visit, it was honestly delicious and one of the better ones I’ve had recently. The kitchen clearly does a great job, which is why this review is disappointing for me to leave.

However, the atmosphere was negatively affected by the behavior of a staff member I believe was named Alicia. She appeared very passive aggressive toward her coworkers throughout my visit. I noticed her walking past employees as if they weren’t there, and the way she was slamming plates and handling things behind the counter was uncomfortable enough that it actually made me jump at one point.

As a customer, it created tension in the environment and made me feel bad for the staff around her. I understand restaurants can get stressful and busy, but the energy she brought completely changed the experience for me. The food itself was excellent, but the atmosphere made me not even want to stay and enjoy my meal.

I’ll probably order takeout next time because I do genuinely like the food, but I hope management pays attention to how employees are being treated and how that behavior affects customers dining in.“

“I’ve had the chicken pad Thai, chicken gai satay, and shrimp summer rolls. It’s all really good. The pad Thai is flavorful with a good amount of garnish. The peanut sauce is 10/10 and pairs excellent with the summer rolls and gai satay. All tastes super authentic and flavorful. Would recommend. The lady that’s typically at the front is kind as well.“

“Had dinner at Thai House - University and it delivered exactly what a neighborhood Thai spot should.

We ordered the Basil Fried Rice with chicken (added a sunny egg on top), Pad Thai, and the beef skewers.

The basil fried rice was the standout. Great wok flavor, rice wasn’t soggy, and the egg with crispy edges tied everything together perfectly. I ordered medium spice — just right for me, although my wife felt the heat immediately. Thai medium is not American medium, so order wisely.

The Pad Thai was solid and balanced — not overly sweet, good noodle texture, generous portion. The beef skewers were tender with nice char and paired well with the peanut sauce.

Service was friendly, food came out hot, and portions were generous.

Now for my slightly controversial take: in my experience, Asian restaurants are almost never 5-star places. The magic zone is 3.5 to 4 stars. That’s where you usually find the most authentic, no-frills, flavor-first cooking. If a place is too polished, something is probably toned down. Thai House sits right in that sweet spot.

“This place is amazing! The food is fresh, inexpensive, and had lots of options! We visited the kitchen which is next door to the market and ordered from the counter but there were also some dishes that were grab n go. We got the Lao sausage w lo mein and the chicken on a stick with sticky rice and a cucumber salad - the food came out quick, was made fresh to order, and the customer service was great! This restaurant is also located really close to the airport and right off the highway making it an easy stop to grab a great meal and avoid the usual fast food stops on the road. We will definitely be returning!!!“

“This is one of those spots that you would pass by and never pay attention to, but I’m glad I got a chance to. I ordered the JP special lo mein and iced chai tea. It took a few minutes, but that’s because they were getting everything ready fresh. The food came out super hot and smelled so good. It’s some of the best lo mein I’ve ever had.

They actually have a wide variety of grabbing meals that you can pick up in the store as well as a bunch of international snacks that I got a chance to try. Highly recommended, I’ll definitely be back.“
