“We have eaten carry out here for years and loved it. Today we tried to dine in. They were busy and understaffed. I had to ask for our soups and salads after waiting 30 min. The soup was cold. The brought us hot ones right away. 15 more min passes and no server or food. I asked another waitress to help us. She said the food would be right out. 20 minutes after that, we had just had it with no explanation or food. We left after an hour of waiting. We took our untouched food in to go boxes bc we didn't want to sit there any longer. People were getting seated and served way after us. No compensation was offered. Very disappointing.“

“Great location and great sushi. Very fresh and flavorful. Ordered a few of their basic rolls. California, spicy tuna and shrimp tempura. Their hibachi was also delicious. The only thing we didnt fully like was the calamari. Small portion and just not up to our standards. Always a hit or miss in different restaurants. Our server was Friendly and efficient. Small but quaint location. Looked like their patio was getting a make over. Located in a shopping center with plenty of parking to choose from.“

“Belissima! Vibes and decorè, unmatched! Its sexy, sleak, and a lil sultry. The back lighting at night is gorgeous. It creates a very intimate vibe. The food is small plates so don't belive you're going to feast. My only draw back was flavor. When it said SPICE I was expecting an indulgent amount of SPICE with unique flavor compliments. Being internationally inspired I guess I was reaching. I will say that the food presentation was beautiful.“

“I don’t eat sushi at all, but once I found this place with cooked GREAT sushi I got hooked. I drive a hour sometimes every week just to get this. I’ve put some of my family members on to Kuya and they beg me to come here every week. Go check them out the sushi roll are big and 1000% delicious.“

“Not a sushi girl BUT they have so much more. The vibe is flirty and sexy with intimate charm. BTW love the Cherry Blossom Trees. We ordered a lot. Coconut Fire Shrimp, Garden and Tempura Rolls, Mushroom and Salmon Yakitiri, Goyza, Truffle Fries, Garlic Butter noodles, Plum wine, Crane Returns, Melon Smash and Koi Pond. It was delicious. Everything was bursting with flavor. The garlic noods were bomb. We used them to tie the Yakitori together. Service is extremely fast too!“

“The only reservation I could get was at 4:30, so we did the early bird special and went up the stairs to Uchiba! I think they have done a great job getting new stores and restaurants in this new area of Plaza Midwood. We had high hopes for Uchiba and they really delivered on all categories. The space itself wasn’t huge and had almost as much space outside as in. The servers were great and very conscientious about allergies. The food was amazing. The dishes were well paced. We didn’t feel rushed or worried that they forgot us. Uchiba is a great addition to the Charlotte food scene.“

“Tight entrance-exit lanes. Nice inside one way up/down lanes so you don’t have to cross other vehicles on tight turns going floor to floor. Easy fast down “twistie” lane on side of building to get to ground floor. Lots of open space even during week days in upper floors. Spaces are not particularly spacious.“

“This was my 1st visit to Musashi Japanese Restaurant & although the lunch menu was very limited I had the Bento Box Specisl that day which was delicious & a nice variety of tasty food. I especially liked the Unagi sushi 🍣 😋
The only thing I didn't like is that one dish was Surimi instead of real crab... otherwise I would definitely recommend Musashi Japanese Restaurant.“

I really love the food here but I came during lunch and I received the worst service ever. 45 mins for a roll and I was the only customer in there for the first 30 minutes. It was upsetting to have to ask for a refill and sauce and for someone to please bring my food.“

“I really enjoy the food at Thai House, especially the Pad Thai I ordered during my visit, it was honestly delicious and one of the better ones I’ve had recently. The kitchen clearly does a great job, which is why this review is disappointing for me to leave.

However, the atmosphere was negatively affected by the behavior of a staff member I believe was named Alicia. She appeared very passive aggressive toward her coworkers throughout my visit. I noticed her walking past employees as if they weren’t there, and the way she was slamming plates and handling things behind the counter was uncomfortable enough that it actually made me jump at one point.

As a customer, it created tension in the environment and made me feel bad for the staff around her. I understand restaurants can get stressful and busy, but the energy she brought completely changed the experience for me. The food itself was excellent, but the atmosphere made me not even want to stay and enjoy my meal.

I’ll probably order takeout next time because I do genuinely like the food, but I hope management pays attention to how employees are being treated and how that behavior affects customers dining in.“
