SHARIGATO Reviews
10/10. Everything was great start to finish. The squash blossom hand roll was surprisingly my favorite.
Sharigato is a fun new concept. The atmosphere is very interesting. We went for lunch; I expect dinner would be busier and cozier. The sushi was delightful. I didn’t love the ordering-from-phone concept. We were hungry and had to take time to figure it out, add a CC, etc. and it wasn’t terribly straightforward. Ended up spending about $200 for 3 people for lunch.
So good! What a vibe!

Sharigato is a fun new concept in Optimist Park with an interesting atmosphere and a beautiful, approachable, welcoming space. The iconic red entryway is a portal to a special experience with intimate vibes, super fresh fish, and great drinks. The sushi is delightful, the hand rolls are absolutely scrumptious, and the food is on point. Other items include fabulous miso soup, tempura veggies, and cocktails on tap like a yuzu margarita. The Yuzu martini can't be beat, and the miso ice cream is a must. Sharigato is intended to be a stop between casual and upscale dining and it delivers. It is excellent for solo dining and also great for groups. Guests scan a QR code attached to their seat to bring up the menu and place food orders; some find the ordering-from-phone concept not terribly straightforward. Hand rolls are prepared fresh in the order they are received. Specials help with savings, but the price justifies the quality of the rolls and the experience. Expect about $55-60 per person on the lower end, or about $200 for 3 people for lunch. Parking in the area looks confusing, but the parking deck offers validated parking for the first 90 minutes. The staff are genuine, and hospitality is appreciated. Sharigato is a must try in Charlotte and in a Top 5.
