I use to get their food at least once a month when I was in the area. Sometimes I’d eat there at the tables they have, & other times I’d get it as take out.“

“Beautiful rooftop. The service here is really immaculate, especially our servers Amanda and Beurkens who took care of our every need. It was my birthday and they very kindly recommended a great bottle of sake, even letting us taste it beforehand! To top it off, they gave me a free dessert at the end with a cute little candle! “I was able to reserve a table for a large group and ensure that their food came out fast with the restaurant. They were well prepared and hosted my group of 10 without a problem. It was a nice, quiet and cool place to take a work lunch. The food was delicious with nice portion sizes. Every dish looked great. And the staff was extremely helpful during our time there and helping get the orders organized for so many people. If I have a big group or a small group or if I’m by myself; this place is worth going to on a weekly basis.“

“No. 1 Poke Bowl in Indian Land is a real gem. If you remember Tea Plus up the road on 521, this is the same great bubble tea now served here alongside their poke bowls. The owners are incredibly sweet people—we always end up chatting with them. I pick this up for my wife all the time and it never fails to make her happy. Authentic, high-quality food we keep coming back for. Highly recommend!

“The only reservation I could get was at 4:30, so we did the early bird special and went up the stairs to Uchiba! I think they have done a great job getting new stores and restaurants in this new area of Plaza Midwood. We had high hopes for Uchiba and they really delivered on all categories. The space itself wasn’t huge and had almost as much space outside as in. The servers were great and very conscientious about allergies. The food was amazing. The dishes were well paced. We didn’t feel rushed or worried that they forgot us. Uchiba is a great addition to the Charlotte food scene.“

“Ru San's is tucked away in the Dilworth neighborhood at the corner of McDonald avenue and Park road. It has a great selection of sushi, and Japanese dishes. The restaurant has plenty of table seating inside or on the patio to accommodate large parties. When you get your food be ready for an amazing presentation of fresh food that is absolutely delicious. They don't skimp on portion size. You get a lot for the price, so it's a great deal. I've had poke bowls before but this one was mouthwatering. When I left my eyes were bigger than my stomach. If you want food that is extremely tasty and satisfying go to Ru San's!“

“We have been to Ming Fu Waxhaw several times and have enjoyed the food. The sushi is presented artfully and the fish is always fresh. The Chinese entrees are always excellent in both taste and presentation. The spice level of any dish can be customized and I always enjoy extra spicy. The service has always been excellent whether seated in the restaurant or at the sushi bar. The only negative is that the restaurant closes at 0830 pm which is early compared to other restaurants in the area.“

“Thai house is a go to for us. They have multiple locations and have been serving The Charlotte area for decades. The food is consistently great. Their sweet jasmine tea is awesome. The atmosphere is sprinkled with authentic Thai decorations without overdoing it. Service is always top notch.I definitely recommend and I will return again.“

Easy fast down “twistie” lane on side of building to get to ground floor. Lots of open space even during week days in upper floors. Spaces are not particularly spacious.“

I got the Hano Steak with steam rice (in chef special). The steak portion is generous, juicy, peppery, and well seasoned (too well seasoned in fact). I would recommend eating it with the rice and not by itself.“
