Prime Fish is the very best for sashimi that you will find anywhere in NC. The quality they use is just superior to all others. It literally melts in your mouth. The chefs are genius and pure artists.

Prime Fish Sushi Charlotte (Ballantyne) is a small restaurant with a few 4 person tables, 2 person tables, and a bar area. The covered patio is not really usable in July. The food is amazing and authentic. Everything is fantastic, with flavors that compliment each other extremely well. No roll has a flavor that overpowers the other ingredients. The fish is very fresh, and the chef is a master. The salmon belly nigiri and the sake yaki roll are delicious. The blue fin tuna tasting and the sea urchin are highly recommended. The chili edamame is also delicious. The quality is consistent, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The kitchen staff keep the quality up and the wait time down. Most rolls are well priced, from classic rolls for cheap to specialty rolls and exotic rolls for $50 an order. The restaurant is mentioned on the Michelin Guide. One customer forgot their wallet with $1000 and a credit card, and the restaurant returned it with nothing lost.
