“Pretty much your average dive bar. Good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. Staff was helpful and pretty nice.Despite other reviews that I read beforehand that seemed to indicate some degree of racism, we witnessed none of that. Eclectic mix of customers to say the least.You do need to "sign in" but it costs nothing and just takes a quick sec (the guy just needs to see your id, really).Located downtown close to everything.“

“We loved our visit to Newgrass. We had enjoyed their smoothie sour beers in Raleigh for a while but it was great to be here in person. Loved the Nashville Chicken sandwich, the smash burger and the libations as well as the quaint town of Shelby.“
