“Sidebar is tucked away on the 2nd floor of the Mandolino's Pizza building on Main Street in charming Davidson. It's a wine and beer shop where you can buy a bottle, a can, or a glass. The selection is good and the prices are fair. Tried a nice bottle of Grenache for $26. No food served but you can order bites from surrounding restaurants and bring it up to Sidebar to enjoy in front of the fireplace! We had Mandolino's pizza and salads and as always - phenomenal. Our first visit to Sidebar turned into a fun surprise as it was Trivia Night unbeknownst to us: had a great time and would definitely go back. The bar is intimate, cozy, and well appointed for small groups or couples. Protip: trivia is on Wednesdays“
“This is now our "go to" place after boating for a nice glass of wine and snacks! Cozy, comfortable, and warm, it just feels so nice sitting inside the cottage sipping a glass of wine with family and friends! We are already looking forward to our visit next summer! And a shout out to Theresa, she was just great, helping us with seating, wine, and just general hospitality!“
“I am from out of town and decided to visit Ash & Barrel on a whim. I found myself in a warm and welcoming environment. Marko is very knowledgeable with cigars and recommended some great sticks based on my palate preference. I stopped by twice and both times took advantage of the buy 5 get 1 free daily deal. I took a nice haul back to Chicago! I plan to visit again as soon as I get back. Great drinks as well!“
“Been there several times over the last year and a half while visiting my son from out of state.....warm, inviting atmosphere. Extremely friendly vibe, local clientele, and Dave, the owner, make it a definite stop if you're in the area....solid assortment of local craft brews with tastes to satisfy if you're looking for a cold one...“
“Great chill place in Cornelius that has awesome people and drinks. Sometimes there is a food truck but good food isn't far either. All due respect to the patrons but it's like a 35+ age range. OH YEA the live music is always good.“
“Another great Mooresville brewery find! They have a spacious interior & patio seating, friendly staff, low-key ambiance, and the beers here were true to style (and had fun names). They also had great live music playing late, which was nice, and a great way to finish out the night! Beers had here: Buns Out Brown Ale 4.1% Bout Damn Time Amber Red Ale 4.5% The Gingered Elf Winter Ale 5% Midnight Norman American Stout 5%“
“We went to there grand opening and the food was delicious and the clams on the half shell are my favorites I’m from New York and they are hard to find in the south but now I understand they do not serve them anymore that was a disappointment but I will return again soon.“
“I've been playing music at Bin for 20 years. this place is always packed with great patrons, good vibes, and fun times. always enjoy the fun, inviting atmosphere. A late night place that keeps it classy and really puts in the extra effort for their people! Extremely comfortable and safe environment to relax and listen to good music... and play it too. Andy and Tallie are great!“
“This place is amazing! The owner takes time to engage with customers, knows his beers/wines and is a genuinely nice person. Also the music is amazing and the bar is very comfortable. If you get the chance swing in. I always leave here happy!!!“
