“I arrived when they opened up at 5pm . Everyone was friendly and the hostess answered my questions. I was given a menu. As I sat at the bar I looked over the drink and food selections. Everything looked delectable and inviting. I ended up ordering the special. 1/2 fried chicken very crispy and not much grease. The best collard greens, mashed potatoes with gravy and a salad full of veggies, bacon and sliced boiled eggs. The drink was a Colonel Slammer very tasty. So in essence I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.“
“Quaint little place serving coffee, craft beer, wine, and sweets. Comfortable atmosphere to just sit and sip with friends. Didn't try any food so could not rate cookies etc. but it looks good. Parking is mostly street with a couple of small lots close by with a space or two available to patrons. Love it's name too!“

“Winston is really stepping up lately with fun little pop ups and special dinners and I'm here for it! Last night I was able to snag tickets to an Italian Trattoria inspired event at The Caviste - Wine Shop inside Bobby Boy Bakeshop. A casual meal that was a mixture of serve yourself and table service. I love the opportunity to try bites of several different items so these kinds of dinners are always super fun in that sense and it allows the chef to be creative and have a little fun and I get to experience several dishes. And for those that aren't interested in committing to an event, The Caviste is a great spot to have glass of wine and some bar snacks/small plates when you don't feel like a big heavy meal(5:30-7pm only) Or just purchase some wine from their extensive wine selection.“
“Enjoyed every aspect of our first visit for brunch. Staff was very accommodating to our toddler and automatically brought water in a to-go cup for her. Food was outstanding and the ambiance was even better. We're hooked and will definitely be back very soon.“

“This is our favorite restaurant in Winston. We love the short ribs and daily specials. The Giardino pizza is delicious. We get it without the peppers & eggplant. Perfect crust.To finish off your evening be sure to try the “Olive Oil” cake. It has hints of orange and comes with ice cream. Delightful! Tracy and Misty are great servers. We enjoy chatting with them. It is a fun place to come before a Winston Salem Dash baseball game or other event. Have fun!“

“Had dinner Saturday night. Not crowded at all. Very good service. Bartender made both my wife and I very good drinks. Had calamari for appetizer (very good). Split a large house salad (definitely enough for two), and also split spaghetti and meatballs (also enough for two). Food was certainly an A (not an A+). I would recommend for a visitor like us but would probably try another Italian restaurant if we return to the WS area...“
“We met some friends here for dinner. I had a sirloin. Cooked perfectly rare. The waitress was on spot even after we paid our check.... we stayed to visit a while. Never let tea or water go dry. I don't have pictures, but trust me.... it's worth the price.“
“I found this place beautiful. The atmosphere is great, and it is a place for you to have either coffee, tea, wine, and sit down to work or chat with friends. Service is good too. I loved the variety of the drinks menu. I do strongly recommend it.“
