When we came in for our reservation, we were told it was a 45 minute to an hour wait because of the “flow of service”. Spoke to the manager and was told this is common practice for them. So FYI, don’t make plans here and expect for them to hold up their end.
My wife and I came in for lunch, upon entering the restaurant we were greeted by no one, we waited 8 minutes before the hostess finally came out from the outside seating area. This is before another male employee came over and said you will be seated shortly and then looked at our 2 small white dogs in their stroller and said Oh dogs are not permitted in the restaurant. We have been back several times since it changed from the former management and our experience gets better each time. Tonight we went with 6 adults and 2 young kids and from appetizers to dessert, the meal and service were perfect. Our server, Izzy, was patient and thorough in explaining the drink and food menu questions we had, and was extremely playful and interactive with our very curious and talkative 5 year old grandson. LakeHouse Wine Bar & Grill is a restaurant that has been around for decades and has seen its fair share of ups and downs. The latest version of the restaurant, however, has been much improved. The service is generally good, with the wait staff being polite, hospitable, and knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere is quite good, with the location on the water being a particular highlight.

While some diners have enjoyed their meals, such as the steak and appetizer, others have found issues with their food, such as overcooked shrimp, undersized and undercooked sea bass, and undercooked broccoli. The calamari was also reported to have gone cold quickly.
Despite these inconsistencies, the restaurant is still highly recommended for those in the area. The cocktails are generous, and the overall experience is positive, with one diner even praising the best macchiato they've ever had. The restaurant's management, such as Dawn, have also been praised for their excellent customer service.
