“Cora is an absolute dream. She is so sweet, knowledgeable and friendly. She takes care of everyone and knows her beer. She has lovely eye makeup and is always wearing a cool beanie. I hear she is also swimsuit model on the side. Love my local watering hole!“
“I am not quite ready to go home yet so I decided to stop here for a beer and wouldn't you know it, there was a hole in the bottom of my glass. I got a second beer and the same thing happened. Very defective glassware here! (sarcasm!)About 90 minutes for two beers with some wifi where I cranked out a Yelp review or two, watched people coming and going, and had a chance to wind down. Nice spot, lots of micro brews available and very friendly. I'll have to come back soon!Parking: Parking in front or there are lots nearby. Check the signs though!“
“Always a great atmosphere at Margaux’s, located in the middle of downtown Pineville. Margaux’s has a very wide selection of wine and charcuterie boards and is perfect for a date night. This time, we ordered the vegan pizza, tomato soup, and pecan salad, all which were delicious and full of flavor. However, the Cuban sandwich stole the show. It was truly the BEST Cuban sandwich I have ever had, and I’m not exaggerating.Try the Cuban sandwich, you won’t regret it.“
“We were in town for one night, an unexpected stay. We decided to make the most of it. Caroline’s sparked our interest and was an easy walk from our hotel. It did NOT disappoint!! In fact, it checked all the boxes: ✅ food, ✅ drink, ✅ staff, ✅ atmosphere, ✅ location, ✅ price. This has been added to our “when in Charlotte again” list.“
“This restaurant is very well organized. Everyone is professional and treats you with the upmost respect. Everything was clean, and inviting. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. Our waiter is really why I wrote this review as his service was exceptional! Alex really impressed us with his knowledge of the menu, suggestions that fit our taste & was perfectly attentive. I would love to return & I would also recommend to family & friends if you’re looking for a nice upscale restaurant with first class treatment & good food. Well done, JW Marriott.“
“We visited 300 East while spending time with my son in college at UNC Charlotte. Jake our waiter was fantastic! Not only did he make excellent food recommendations but he also took time to explain how to travel around Charlotte and gave advice on local shops and art surrounding the area. Their food was amazing and the restaurant has true southern charm. This is definitely a place to frequent if in town.“
“Puerta was so good and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I had the sweet potato empanadas 10/10. I also had the queso dip which was an 8/10 I enjoyed. Lastly the Spivey margarita was super good and had the perfect amount of kick! I sat at the bar a genuinely enjoyed the service. I will definitely be returning.“
“The ambiance/vibe was very good here. Always seem to have live music going from 7-10pm. The bartender was incredibly kind and gracious. Not too pushy either, which is a plus. I got a Chilean cab and it was very good, but a tad pricey. Their arincini was very very good! Large serving size as well!“
“Dresslers has become a go-to spot for me, and today's experience was no exception. We indulged in a delightful spread including the crab dip, salmon, Brussels sprouts, carrot cake, and creme brulee. Each dish was superb, and the service, as usual, was top-notch. Dresslers never disappoints!“
“A fantastic place to go for *any* type of meal - date nights, friends, wine tastings, social hours...a great destination for all purposes. The wine selection is deep and high quality at every price point, the menu has potential options for virtually every taste (don't be fooled that it's a page in total - the diversity is top notch), and the staff is well informed for all requests regardless of food or drink.A couple of things to catch:- While it's great inside as well, Foxcroft really shines from Spring through Fall, where the patio is a fantastic place to grab a bite or have a glass of wine.- The periodic tastings are a great opportunity for new fans of wine to learn about all aspects of the product, and introduce new options to long-time aficionados. Worth a try!- Just another shoutout to the staff. Quality folks.“
“I ordered the meatballs for an appetizer which were a little too tough for my liking. Did not break apart easily. For my main dish I ordered the orecchiette which were phenomenal (cooked al dente). The crushed red pepper was extremely spicy, the server warned me but I thought I was tough. The ambience is intimate so I agree coming alone is not ideal but that doesn’t bother me.“
“Cutest place with tons of seating indoors and out too. I love the selection of wines and having Brie's Boards for food is a great touch. Wonderful customer service as well. I would give it 5 stars if there was better parking - there's no street parking allowed and they have a tiny lot behind the space. I wish they would secure a deal with some of the local businesses so patrons could park there after hours without worry of being towed.“
“The food was excellent. Several choices for wine and the pinot from Washington was a good one. Our server knew the wines and was able to explain their characteristics. The menu could be more expansive; however, there is still something for everyone.“
“Had dinner and drinks with some girlfriends here. Had the most kind and generous service by our server Nathan. He even went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and gave us recommendations to his favorite spots in town. Will absolutely request Nathan in the future. Food and wine was incredible as well as the service. Thank you!!!“
“This was such a great experience! When you walk in, the space is so open, and they have lots of seating inside and out. I luckily went on a day it was warmer, so I already knew I wanted to sit outside.I order the Cheesy-Toastie, Crispy Potatoes, and House Spritz. The spritz was so refreshing and smooth! I loved every second of it and recommended it to the woman next to me. My cheesy toastie was perfectly toasted, and this cheese perfectly melted. Every bite melted in my mouth. The crispy potatoes and the aioli were the perfect pairing for the day. Can’t wait to bring my friends back!Parking: There’s a lot with more parking in the back, next to the buildingKid-friendliness: Has larger tables inside for kids to sit with family“
“The Bohemian: A Wine Bar was an experience within itself. The lightly decorated establishment had works of art displayed for sale, mixed matched furniture, a outside seating area with shelter so you're able to enjoy the fresh air and people watch but not be crucified by the sun. The staff spoke to us immediately as soon as we walked through the door. She was pleasant and polite. Served us quickly. There were several selections of wine for purchase on the wall, but not so many on the menu provided to us. There are some meats/cheese and flatbreads that can be purchased here. Pricing wise, this establishment is a little cheaper than most places when buying a glass. The wine was served warm but wasn't too bad at all if you knew your wines. Personally, The Bohemian wasn't all my favorite out of all the wine bars within Charlotte. I can't discredit them because of my opinion. However, you can't pass it up for location convenience and the affordable for a glass of wine or two.“
“We got here early but it became PACKED and extremely loud pretty quickly. We sat outside and it was lovely but I was surprised at how loud it got outside. The food was all incredible and I would recommend anything in there is probably going to be amazing. We got the asparagus, shrimp, whipped sheep cheese, Brussels sprouts, chicken thigh (it is only 1), patatas bravas, and chocolate cake. The cake was flourless so it was more so almost a pudding and kind of disappointing (the only thing that was not very good). The Guns & Roses sangria was very yummy too but very strong! The service was subpar. Our server barely made their way over to us and there were multiple times throughout the night that I saw other tables serving themselves from the servers station because of how little they came by. If not for the poor service I would have given them higher stars.“
“If you are a wine lover like me, head over to The Wine Loft, located in the swanky Southend neighborhood of Charlotte! It's an excellent option for enjoying great wines! They have a selection of white, red and rose wines and the ambiance is perfect - cozy and laid back, with a touch of elegance. The staff was also helpful and attentive! They also have live music on the weekends, which adds to the great vibe! It's a great place to enjoy a variety of wines!“
“I stopped by this afternoon looking for easy dinner options after a Dr appt, and left with the most amazing, flaky, delicious chicken pot pie, yummy chicken tetrazzini, and some kindly gifted sweets (You were too kind, thank you!) that were “slap your mama” heavenly. My 10 year old said he loved the pot pie, even though it had veggies, and I didn’t have to make it, so that’s a absolute win-win!!“
“This wine boutique exceeded my expectations with its fine wines, exquisite cheeses, and phenomenal charcuterie.Speaking of the charcuterie, it's hands down the best I've found in Charlotte. I highly recommend MERE'S for anyone seeking a perfect spot for a date night or a casual evening with friends. The ambiance is warm and inviting, creating the ideal setting for a memorable outing.A unique feature that stood out to me is the option to reserve a charcuterie online for pick-up. I took advantage of this and enjoyed a delightful picnic at Freedom Park, just a mile away. It added an extra layer of convenience and charm to my experience.Beyond the delectable offerings, the team at MERE'S deserves a special mention. They are consistently kind and helpful, contributing to the overall positive atmosphere. If you're looking for a place that combines exceptional flavors with a welcoming ambiance, MERE'S is the perfect choice.“
“Myself and come colleagues were in town for the ASTC conference and stopped in here for lunch one day as the aroma drew us in. We ordered several dishes and everything was stellar! Service was quick and friendly and we were stuffed after. Our favorite dish was the Chilli Cauliflower Florets. We still talk about how good they were and have even tried to replicate them at home. I will definitely be stopping back in for another meal when I’m in town again.“
“We've been here a bunch and keep coming back. FOOD: All yum! Pay the extra $4 for fresh pasta. Apps: The Prosciutto and Burrata is a yum appetizer. We also like the little dish of beans that come with the complimentary bread. You get one complimentary refill of bread, then they charge you. Entrees: Our favorite dish is the Buttara. Amatriciana is another favorite of mine. Hubs also likes Penne Alla Vodka with Shrimp. My dad likes the Chicken Parmesan (note it doesn't come with pasta, thats another ~$9 for a side of (out of the box) pasta). There is no kids menu, they can sell you a "kids pasta" which is sauce and out of the box noodles. Drinks: Everything is good. Dessert: Save a few bucks by getting Duck Donuts next door or TCBY across the parking lot.“
“Nice place with good music and atmosphere, their cocktails were the best, we went here hoping tasting wine but that is only on Tuesday, we told the person assisting us we were here first time but we got very limited information however the bartender was around and she was super friendly and sharing information about the wine tasting days , we saw few reviews on Bellini cocktail and wanted to have it but came to know their menu changed and made us a version without slushy it was very good, for the next one we asked her to make one of her specials and she gave us a drink which was too good it was not in the menu. My wife also ordered the same drink and she told hers tasted even better with lime touch, she is the best. The food options were very limited but the way it was presented and quality is great . We ordered hummus plates and mushroom flatbread, we liked both, the food we ordered, the food menu also keeps changing here!!overall we had great experience and we will be back to the wine tasting someday.“
“This place is made for good people, friendly conversations, and premium wine. I know wine is what people may come here for- and trust me when I say that the wine is top shelf- but the owners make it a home. 100% a pleasure to even have a glass of wine with such an establishment.“
“Every single time we dine here we are treated so well. All the servers are very attentive and never seize to impress me how much they know about the cuisine. We are avid sushi eaters from the west coast. We know good sushi. Trust me when I say we savor every bite!“
“The service was excellent starting with the fact we were running late and they still let us be seated when we arrived. Our server was very friendly and informative of different menu options. Food was great and portions were very good size. We will be back again!“
“This is a must stop when visiting LoSo!! They have a great vibe, mixed drinks, beer selection, and small plate options!! Think Amelie’s bakery meets craft cocktail speak easy with classic movies streaming in the background. Amber and Z are rock star bartenders!“
“I cannot say enough great things about Cicchetti. The wine selection was amazing. Something for every budget. The menu was unique and interesting. The food was so delicious!!! Our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Overall an amazing experience.“
“My wife and I stopped in after a busy morning of chores. We truly enjoyed the service and friendly personality of the young man who took care of us. They had quite a good selection of wine. My wife and I both settled on a wine flight and we also went for their high end charcuterie and cheese plate. The wine flight was exceptional good; however, the charcuterie and cheese plate was rather pedestrian. We did pick up five bottles of wine to take home. We were very pleased to see that they were not price gouging with their retail wine. If we would be here longer, we would stop again.“
“Everything is chill. Nice relaxing environment.Big deck to smoke or whatever ?.Good music, not much county though.Drinks are not over priced really, special u saw was like $5.Nice cozy nooks and larger L sofas ?.Chill for like 50 with drinks.“
“Really cute little place. The lady there was really friendly and tried to help me as much as she could. They didn't have what I was looking for but if your in the area you should stop in. I recommend it, at least they treat you with respect. See for yourselves. Just a little wine be careful and don't drink too much. I don't get drunk, I do as 1 Timothy says a little wine for your ailments and your stomach. Just being honest.“
“Indaco is a nice rustic Italian spot in Charlotte's South End. They have a great menu with wood-fired pizzas, delicious pastas, and housemade cured meats. The atmosphere is casual and inviting. The service was slow when we went there as it was a busy Saturday evening. I highly recommend Indaco for a delicious and enjoyable Italian dining experience! Make sure you reserve your table in advance.“
“My first time at Copper, celebrating a friends birthday! There's a parking lot on the side (there were still a few spots available at 6:30pm on a Sunday) and street parking if needed. They were extremely busy! Waited a bit for a host to come out, but once they did we were seated for our reservation right away! All of the staff was so friendly and very prompt with refilling water, which we thoroughly appreciated. Meals come with rice, naan costs extra if you are wanting it. The tikki masala was delicious! The tofu vegetable kesari was very light, minty, and refreshing. For my friends birthday they brought out a cute coconut ice cream with gulab jamon on top. Would love to go again!“
“The view of downtown was excellent. The service was fantastic. The food in my opinion was just okay. I had the prime rib, Brussel sprouts, creamed spinach and lobster mash potatoes. Pricing is around the average for an upper scale Steakhouse.“
“I travel through Charlotte often and can't wait to visit The Hop Shop! The owner takes such pride in the beer menu...always something new and adventurous! The locals are a great bunch of people and personalities....stop by and enjoy a relaxed environment with an unbelievable Beer list!“
“Queen City Craft and Gourmet has been a staple lunch location for our family since they opened. The menu rotates through the seasons, the beer choices are amazing and also rotate, and the staff is always polite and helpful.Today I ordered my usual, greek salad, this time with grilled chicken. When it is in season, the trout is an amazingly prepared protein to top a delicious salad here. However, the chicken does the job when there is no trout on the menu - it's grilled just fine. The greens here are always fresh, the olives are full of flavor and perfectly salty, and the tomatoes are sliced big and juicy. The highlight of the salad are the huge triangles of feta, which make for a delicious treat of flavor mixed into the salad. I don't care for peppers, but my wife loves them so she always happily picks them out of my salad for me.I also ordered a side dish of Salt & Pepper Brussels. Oh my goodness they always come out roasted to perfection. Just enough oil, just enough seasoning, and cooked to bring out just amazing flavors. This little side dish is my favorite thing on the menu. The staff, including the owner, was wonderful as always. Friendly as can be, greeting customers as they enter and making sure to thank us as we were leaving. This is a place that genuinely appreciates all customers and definitely makes that obvious. You will feel extremely welcome coming to Queen City Craft and Gourmet for a meal or a drink. The friendliness of the atmosphere cannot be beat here, but I did take a star away from this category just because the design of the interior space is just okay.Overall, we highly recommend Queen City Craft and Gourmet to anyone looking for an incredible meal with amazing drink choices and the friendliest of staff. You will come away appreciating your food while feeling appreciated for being a patron.Parking: It's a very big shopping center with plenty of parking. No issues.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu, but really the adult menu has many appetizers and side dishes to make any kid happy. Today our kid ordered 2 sides of shrimp as their meal and they were quite satisfied.“
“Hands down our favorite Mexican food in the entire Charlotte area! We are so glad to have them here in Indian Land. Every visit is fun, you'll be greeted like family and the food is amazing. The chicken fajitas and carnitas tacos are two of my favorites although you could just point to anything on the menu and it's going to be goodKid-friendliness: Truly one of the most family friendly restaurants around“
“A great spot for an exclusive Yelp event, over a dozen award-winning Elites were here for about two hours. We had drinks and snacks and great service though it was interesting how many things they were out of due to delivery issues. The charcuterie board was excellent, the flatbread pizza was great (try the salmon!) and the salmon sushi was terrific. The spicy feta spread is definitely spicy.Parking is interesting in this part of Dilworth. Carefully check the signage to make sure you're legal! This is a comfy little wine bar and I look forward to returning.Parking: Check the signs carefully!“
“Dined here with friends twice in the last two months. Both times the service was attentive, the food was fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. Lasagna, seafood fra diavolo (special), risotto, ravioli--all were wonderful.“
“This has to be one of the best kept secrets in the Charlotte Metro area as far as restaurants go. This is probably the best German food I've ever had. All the employees are very nice and knowledgeable, take pride in the food and service they provide. It's also great for authentic German beer, served the right way. Recently joined the Beer Club, and despite it being a nearly 30 minutes treck each time you go there, it's well worth it.“
