We fell in love with this charming little pizza place as we entered. Your staff were all very nice and so helpful in helping us making our choices. So many unique options to choose from. A special thanks to the young man Ashton. His kindness and care was very much appreciated. Thank You Ashton You were wonderful. “(This is Tim Burgess - Marlene's Husband).I was visiting NC from Arizona, last week. I was looking for a locally owned craft beer bar/bottle shop with great reviews while in town. I found the perfect place. I went in there twice last week and was greeted both times by Kit- The Owner. He made me feel very welcome. We talked about how important great service is and how he really makes a great effort to take care of his customers. I went there twice whilst in town. The atmosphere is very welcoming. I chatted with several patrons at Kit's and everyone was very very friendly. They have a great selection of bottles, cans, and beers on tap. (I bought several beers to carry out.) They also have a plethora of wines to choose from (though I did not partake).If I lived in the Charlotte area, I would definitely be a regular here. Thank you for a great time! “Definitely a special occasion spot. Their wine collection is exceptional, which is to be expected. I initially ordered a Bordeaux that I did not care for and we were able to order another bottle with no issues. My only complaint is we asked to keep the price comparable and they sent a $20 more expensive bottle. I ordered the filet and it was cooked perfectly. We were there for a birthday and they sent a complimentary champagne flute for all 9 of us in our party. Amazing. I like the interior of this location more than the others. But no exterior compares to the Dilworth location.“

“We held my daughter’s celebratory graduation dinner from UNCC at Barcelona Wine Bar this past weekend, and it was absolutely perfect! I planned the event far in advance with Tiana, their Sales & Events Manager, and she was thorough, communicative and handled it all like a pro, including a last minute change to the menu that she texted to me (smart). She arranged for printed menus with the event name (lovely detail!) and because they can’t include mussels, her favorite, on an event menu (understandable), they surprised us and sent her some anyway on the house. Our main server (I’m blanking on her name so sorry we love you so much!!) and our bar servers, Morgan and Justin (who we kept busy 🤣), should win personality of the year awards for their wit, humor, charm and skill (for instance, Morgan wowed us with his tapas plate stacking ability and made sure to holler in my Mama’s good ear when he spoke 🤣). It was great fun, and the food was DELISH!! Highly recommend for events and also looks like a fun place to just hang out!“

First impression: 1000% worth traveling over state lines for. I got the privilege of attending Saturday brunch and Saturday dinner. Both experiences had their differences and similarities and have me counting down the days until I go back. The menus both times were filled with many options of delicious foods. I did a little bit of everything while I was there and the truth is there are no wrong choices with what they offer! Now for my favorite part of my visit(s): The owners came out while we were eating and when we finished to check on how our service was and introduce themselves/say hello again. I LOVE that they do this. It added such a personal touch to this Family-Owned dining experience both in the morning at brunch and in the evening at dinner. “We went to Dressler’s tonight for my husband’s Birthday. We had never been but wanted to try it since we loved their old Dogwood concept. Michelle was our waitress and truly made the evening so special. She was so knowledgeable around the menu and so attentive and fun. The food was exceptional. I had the waygu flank special and he had the 16oz ribeye. The shrimp appetizer was a great way to start and the apple crisp was a perfect ending to the meal. “I stumbled upon Exotica at an India Food Festival in Charleston, SC. I’ve been on an Indian Food kick so I had to go see what this festival had to offer. Exotica had an impressive spread of food that was well displayed esthetically and from a food quality and safely standpoint. I’m a kitchen manager and caterer so that stands out and matters to me. They had the longest of a lot of long lines which told me it should be good. I was right. It was top notch. They far exceeded my expectations for the event. I didn’t know what most of the menu was so I looked everything up while I waited and made a list on my hand. My favorites of what I chose were the Samosa Chat, Onion Samosa and the Madurai Malli Dosa. Everything was amazing though. Sooo many flavors!! I’ll definitely be going to their restaurant the next time I’m near Charlotte. 10000% Now that I look at the full menu I see so much more that I need to try. Definitely a happy little accident finding this gem. 20/10 recommend :)“

“My wife and I stopped here Friday night before dinner at a nearby restaurant. Friday and Saturday nights get very crowded but we were fortunate to grab 2 seats at the bar which is rather small. They specialize in MANY types of wine, craft beers and sangria. I’m had the Gailic Ale and an Oktoberfest, my wife had the red sangria. The atmosphere is that of a boutique book shop/winery. They offer a small selection of small bites that looked delicious. Very cool place . Prices were fair and we look forward to going back.“

“We hosted a leadership team gathering for my company in the loft and LOVED it. Two separate rooms up stairs were great for small groups to mingle and gather. Downstairs was great for people wanting to watch the game. And we had plenty of space on the large loft when we all came together.

Plenty of food our group in the package pricing and drinks and variety were excellent!

“A good chill lowkey spot. One of those places that’s never really your first choice but it’s reliable. Throw some slides on and chill kind of night m.
They don’t really post on social media, but just know they’re always open. You can bring food which I like. The service is hit or miss sometimes you have a server other times you have to walk to the bar and order everything yourself just depends. But again it’s reliable so I can’t complain too much.“

“Delicious, authentic Italian cuisine.
We had the stuffed mushrooms to start for the table, 2 orders and they evaporated. They were so good.
We had a party of 6 and we all finished our food and the portions are large y'all. It was so delicious.
I'm used to restaurants cutting corners in obvious ways, like using frozen veggies for example. Not here. I had broccoli in my dish and it was fresh, sounds small but it's a detail to be appreciated!
The service was fantastic, jovial, friendly and attentive. Shout out to the entire staff.
I would definitely come back! The place was bustling on a Saturday evening, even at 6 pm so I would recommend making a reservation for the weekends. Easy parking.
