Went for my birthday dinner with a party of 8 and were immediately served. The drinks here are strong but tasty and our server was very attentive and friendly! We all wanted to try a little of everything and good lord the portions here are MASSIVE.

A little about the food, cause you really should just come taste it for yourself. Salt & pepper fried catfish was the BEST catfish I’ve ever had. The seafood gumbo is delicious. Shrimp and grits were flavorful and the sausage in it really makes it! 3-way Diane was spicy and rich, the popcorn crawfish were a crowd pleaser as well as the bourbon bread pudding, étouffée was divine with no leftovers. You can’t go wrong with this place if you’re looking for flavor and New Orleans vibes. Will be back again soon!

“Truly awful service, the ginger ale was completely flat, the inside of the ketchup bottle was moldy and the waiter told the table next to us (right in front of us, while we were in the middle of our meal) that he couldn't seat them properly because he was waiting for us to leave. The dining room was not full. It's a shame because the food was delicious but overshadowed by the inconsiderate staff. Very, very disappointing. We left unhappy. Absolutely would not recommend. Edit: Not kid friendly at all. Ours were glared at as soon as we came through the door and the waiter made it clear they were an inconvenience (they were well behaved and polite to him). Parking is paid ($10) and in a tight, disorganized lot, across the street.“

“Me and about 25 of my chapter brothers had our reunion luncheon here last Friday 7/22/22. The food was amazing, literally the best thing I ate in Charlotte. In addition the service was impeccable and the restrooms where spotless. They even kept the Resturant open for an additional hour to accommodate us. I couldn’t have hoped for a better experience for our event. Thank you so much. We will be back.“

“Went today for the first time with my daughter. The seafood boil was awesome. I had crab legs, shrimp and crawfish with medium Cajun sauce. Really enjoyed the flavor and the staff was great!“

“I ordered the catfish and shrimp plate with fries and yams. Also got the fried gators bites, which were delicious and perfectly seasoned. The catfish and shrimp was fried beautifully and seasoned very well and the yams were good. Oh and the hush puppies were just perfect. I will most definitely be returning.“

Parking: Lots of places to park in the parking lot right in front of the restaurant

Wheelchair accessibility: Yeah, wheelchair rips outside double wide doors for the wheelchair to get in very easy to maneuver“

“very disappointed on tonight with the online wait list (I had 4ppl ahead) but when I arrived...we not on the list? which they claim is not theirs on Google ? but clearly has the online + wait list visible with their business name, etc (the male manager advised this wasn't their online doing) I suggested they need to remove that, because that causes confusion. And then got on the list AGAIN hand written; and I was never texted or called to be seated??‍♀️ and it's 1am now, lol, so we went to Billy's to eat next door. This is normally a good place to eat when we come to Charlotte, idk what happened tonight. *I believe you'll do better family, I KNOW you can; take them rags off your head at the front desk, get a good uniform policy for the hostesses/waiters, stop hollering/yelling across the restaurant (I saw the manager do this tonight) bring more professionalism in the establishment. love you? ms melody“
