“In the basement at Duckworth’s. As a bartender from another city, I thought this was an elite bar program. The ambiance was on point. It smelled so good down there. Kind of oaky in a way.The menu was on a tablet, which I thought was pretty cool. They had their own creations, but put an emphasis on the classics and modern classics. They make these classics exactly how you’re supposed to.The bartender was very knowledgeable. I love a good boulevardier, so I ordered one. He suggested his own rendition with Suze and Cynar instead of Campari and sweet vermouth. It was EXCELLENT.Overall, we were so happy we stumbled upon this place.“

“I come with a unique perspective since I was here for a generous work dinner, where the host literally ordered everything on the menu ($315). Since we weren't sure what we were getting, we didn't pace ourselves well and were completely stuffed such that we couldn't adequately finish. I did my service by trying a little bit of everything. While everything was tasty, space was open and flexible for both smaller and larger parties (we had a larger party upstairs), here's my ranking, starting from my faves: - deep fried pickles - scallops with corn - Mac n cheese - short ribs - pork belly - broccolini - string beans Service was just ok, not overly impressive - fried cauliflower“

“We were in Charlotte for a quick work trip and did a search for vegetarian food near our hotel next to the Panthers stadium… I’m so glad we found this place! We came back on our second night it was so good! Alayna was so kind and attentive, she even got our fire pit lit for us on a cold evening. The food was so good! The fried cauliflower and falafel tacos were the star of the show but the pretzel bites and french fries were also really good. I would highly recommend for anyone, but especially if you are looking for tasty vegetarian food, and good service.Vegetarian options: By far the best vegetarian options, in a pub that you will find anywhere in Charlotte!“
