“Five stars for Jillian! We visited the rooftop bar and she absolutely made our evening. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever hovering. Her cocktail recommendations were spot-on — she clearly knows the menu inside and out — and she timed everything perfectly, even as the bar filled up. It’s rare to get service that feels this effortless and personal at a busy spot. Jillian is a true professional and a huge asset to this place. We’ll be back, and we’ll be asking for her section.“

“Belissima! Vibes and decorè, unmatched! Its sexy, sleak, and a lil sultry. The back lighting at night is gorgeous. It creates a very intimate vibe. The food is small plates so don't belive you're going to feast. My only draw back was flavor. When it said SPICE I was expecting an indulgent amount of SPICE with unique flavor compliments. Being internationally inspired I guess I was reaching. I will say that the food presentation was beautiful.“

“The restaurant was a great vibe. Food was yummy. Definitely would go here again. It's a lil loud so if you come here to talk, this probably isn't ideal depending on where you sit. The music can be a bit lively. We also had hookah. Good drinks. I don't remember how much my bill was so I can't comment on price. Where my chair was kinda put me in the middle of the walkway so people kept bumping me in the head. So maybe I wouldn't sit there again but nevertheless still a good time. 🤣“

“We held my daughter’s celebratory graduation dinner from UNCC at Barcelona Wine Bar this past weekend, and it was absolutely perfect! I planned the event far in advance with Tiana, their Sales & Events Manager, and she was thorough, communicative and handled it all like a pro, including a last minute change to the menu that she texted to me (smart). She arranged for printed menus with the event name (lovely detail!) and because they can’t include mussels, her favorite, on an event menu (understandable), they surprised us and sent her some anyway on the house. Our main server (I’m blanking on her name so sorry we love you so much!!) and our bar servers, Morgan and Justin (who we kept busy 🤣), should win personality of the year awards for their wit, humor, charm and skill (for instance, Morgan wowed us with his tapas plate stacking ability and made sure to holler in my Mama’s good ear when he spoke 🤣). It was great fun, and the food was DELISH!! Highly recommend for events and also looks like a fun place to just hang out!“

“I have been to Mariposa twice - once with my husband for an aperitivo and again with my friend for lunch (I was picking up my painting at the Mint). Stephanie was our server both times and she was so nice, knowledgeable about the menu, and efficient. She made it a pleasant experience each time. The food was delicious. my husband and I had pizza, my friend had a lamb burger and fries, and I had the shrimp and crab cakes. I will definitely return!“

“When visiting Charlotte, my husband and I came here on a Friday night and absolutely loved hearing Justin Mintun! He’s an extremely talented musician with an incredible voice. He is also super personable. Our bartender, who I think was Mark (sorry, my memory is terrible) was amazing. He’s so passionate and we are routing for him in all the competitions he’s in! He crafted the recipe for the mezcal drink that I had and wow. The thyme, mezcal, grapefruit and elderflower all went so well together.
Finally, we loved the peach and prosciutto flatbread. It was flavorful and cooked perfectly. We can’t wait to come back!“

“My son, his GF and I had brunch here this past Saturday and it was beyond delightful! The food and the service were absolutely perfect, and the weather for sitting on the patio couldn't have been better. Our server (Samantha?) was spot on, sweet, and very helpful. We ordered the blintzes, Eggs Benedict with cheddar jalapeño grits, Turkish Eggs, and breakfast tacos with home fries and we split everything. We were all in food paradise for the next hour or so. I have never considered myself to be a blintzes person, but each bite was like a pillow of heavenly sweetness. When we got the check we were all shocked that it was only $65, as we all thought it would be over $100. I can't recommend this place more highly and I will return as often as I can!“

“Our server Nick was great. I was a bit dissatisfied with empanadas it was little greasy. Jerk chicken good, oxtail great. Our goat nachos pieces was big chunks, maybe if you cut it smaller and Seasoning it a bit more. Overal 7 out of 10. If those changes are made i will come back.“

“I'm staying in the hotel, and, it's hard to pass up the opportunity to get to check out a rooftop for sunset... and Buho didn't disappoint one bit. I had the salad with ahi tuna and the wagyu sliders, perfect combo with the montelobos mezcal.

The music was absolutely on point and totally a vibe after a long day of work. The patio was decently busy, but plenty of space and seating. I walked in with no reservation and everyone was super friendly. Big thanks to April on the experience! I'll be back!!!“

“Absolutely delightful experience! Gentleman helping us was so lovely. His name began with a T but the space was a little dark and I could not see the spelling of it. I asked his opinion about 2 items on the menu. He was very adamant about one being exceptional. This is what I absolutely adore when a server can share what is special about their menu. Needless to say the bang bang tacos are very well crafted the shrimp are crunchy in their breaded coating yet there are sauces and cabbage on the tacos but the shrimp isn't mushy. Very well assembled and timed creation and when it was brought to the table timing.

Spouse greatly enjoyed his meal as well of sliders.

Kelly the bar keep and mixologist has fashioned truly exceptional mocktails. I would say they would hold their own against any higher end mocktail in Manhattan. Truly multi faceted in the flavor notes, texture and the evolution of the taste.

“Enjoyed watching Monday night football at the bar & eating dinner. I got the buffalo wings - beware, they do not taste at all like buffalo wings. They were good but to me, tasted like some kind of a rub. They were nice & crispy. The sweet potato fries were fantastic! My husband got a chicken club & regular fries. He liked his sandwich but his fries were not crispy at all. They charge outrageous prices for tequila - be aware!“

“It's a restaurant in a hotel which I know is kind of off-putting for some people, but their food is genuinely fantastic. I'm bummed out they no longer have oxtail starting right when I got here, but the steak and the salmon were both fantastic and well executed in flavor and presentation. If you're finding this place on Google, and you might pass on it because it's in a hotel, just give it a shot. The service is a little slow, but I genuinely enjoy the food.“

“The food and dessert was Chef's Kiss. I ordered home delivery of mixed vegetables, fried rice and Strawberry Cheesecake. I also ordered 2 vegetable Spring Rolls but wasn't in the other but I enjoyed everything else. I will be ordering same again. I recommend everything because the cuisine is absolutely delicious 😋“
