“I came here for the NCAA tournament and my first time in charlotte. The rooftop bar is on point. All the bartenders made great drinks. Shout out to will. Will and I talked about the drinks I like and he mixed up things that weren’t even on the menu and they were the best drinks I have had in a long time. The balance in them was impeccable. I highly recommend to anyone to go to their bar. Great views and even better service“

“Charlotte Cigar Culture is a very nice cigar lounge with a strong overall experience. Their selection is good, and prices are fairly average. They also occasionally get in some interesting limited-edition cigars, which is a nice bonus if you’re looking for something unique.

The public lounge area is comfortable, and the people there are very friendly. I ended up spending a long time talking with others and had a genuinely great time socializing while smoking.

They also have a latte machine, which is an interesting touch for a cigar lounge. I didn’t get a chance to really evaluate the quality of the drinks, but it’s a unique addition.

One downside is the ventilation. When I visited, the smoke wasn’t being filtered out very well, and it became pretty heavy in the room over time. Even with a milder cigar, I ended up feeling a bit overwhelmed by the smoke. Because of that, I’d recommend trying to sit near a window or in a better-ventilated area if possible.

There is also a members-only lounge in the back that I haven’t had access to yet, but the main public space alone was still a very enjoyable experience overall.“

“Wow Papi Rico has many delicious plates but the standout is without question their tacos trompo al pastor. The pork is perfectly marinated, tender, and carved fresh with just the right balance of smoky and sweet flavors. Each bite is layered with authenticity—from the juicy meat to the subtle char and the bright pop of pineapple that brings it all together.
The tortillas are warm and fresh, the toppings are simple yet flavorful, and everything tastes thoughtfully prepared. On top of that, the service truly elevates the experience—Regina and Natalia were attentive, friendly, and made us feel genuinely welcomed.
If you are looking for some of the best al pastor tacos around, Papi Rico absolutely delivers and is well worth the visit.

“My family loved Ashley tonight. My daughters went to the Billie Eilish Concert and we stayed at the bar the entire time. We even left for about a hour and came back to our same spot in the bar. Ashley welcomed us and we truly found a gem.

This bar was busy tonight and the games were showing. My husband and I had an amazing time.“

“I'm staying in the hotel, and, it's hard to pass up the opportunity to get to check out a rooftop for sunset... and Buho didn't disappoint one bit. I had the salad with ahi tuna and the wagyu sliders, perfect combo with the montelobos mezcal.

The music was absolutely on point and totally a vibe after a long day of work. The patio was decently busy, but plenty of space and seating. I walked in with no reservation and everyone was super friendly. Big thanks to April on the experience! I'll be back!!!“

“We had an amazing dinner here during Queens Feast. Highly recommend for a date night as the atmosphere is extremely warm and romantic. Great drinks as well, and the food of course was delicious and extremely fresh.“

“The potential of this place is enormous, but the way it is managed at the moment at least from what I experienced is not using not even half of it. The food was ok, served as a take out dinner in plastic containers and seemed like it was just warmed up in the microwave. The atmosphere is good but it can be better in so many ways. What’s hurting this place the most is the staff who seemed like they never heard about customer service. The location of this place can be one of the most popular places in town if the managers paid attention on the small details such as putting signs to guide the visitors to the outside terrace if the inside is closed, or fixing the one tile on the floor at the entrance so it’s not a safety hazard, or have clean tables at all times, or if staff speak english too, or if staff are more welcoming to visitors, or if you put sound proof panels around the ACs to lower down the noise. Again it is so unfortunate to see a place with such a big potential not been used the proper way. Lots of room for improvement, but it can be really great.“

“A bar with real personality. When you want more than just a drink, but a place with great Greek food as well as a generous drink selection, I recommend Neflies. I stopped in for a drink and ended up falling in love with this place. The atmosphere is unpretentious and the drinks are well made. The food is great quality at a very nice price for excellent value. There is an upstairs area with darts and tables to relax as well. Gus has done a great job with decor and making everyone feel welcome.“

He’s truly a star employee and mentioned he’s been here for over 10 years — it shows in his exceptional service! You can count on me to stop by anytime I’m at the Charlotte airport.“

“We got a veggie omelet and a breakfast sandwich. Both were excellent. Of the three breakfast places we visited on our trip, this was our favorite. Great good, great service, comfortable lounge. It was better than both a trendy diner nearby and a high tea we attended downtown.“

“Absolutely delightful experience! Gentleman helping us was so lovely. His name began with a T but the space was a little dark and I could not see the spelling of it. I asked his opinion about 2 items on the menu. He was very adamant about one being exceptional. This is what I absolutely adore when a server can share what is special about their menu. Needless to say the bang bang tacos are very well crafted the shrimp are crunchy in their breaded coating yet there are sauces and cabbage on the tacos but the shrimp isn't mushy. Very well assembled and timed creation and when it was brought to the table timing.

Spouse greatly enjoyed his meal as well of sliders.

Kelly the bar keep and mixologist has fashioned truly exceptional mocktails. I would say they would hold their own against any higher end mocktail in Manhattan. Truly multi faceted in the flavor notes, texture and the evolution of the taste.

“I had my birthday party here two years ago and it was fantastic. My friends and I were blown away with the food, it was incredible. I recently went for my birthday and it was even better than I remember, and the desserts resembled something from a Michelin star restaurant.
It’s interesting to see the negative comments here as I challenge someone to tell me a better restaurant in this area from a food perspective.“

“The food and drinks are fine. It is what was expected in an airport. However, where do you get the bar stools? A scrap metal yard? I own night clubs. We buy restaurant equipment at the auctions. The auctioneers would not be able to sell these except for scrap metal value. These are 100 years old, no padding and if you have a 2.5 hour layover like I had, you can sit for 15 minutes before it is more comfortable to just stand up“

“There is a bartender name Nathan. He is one find man and super friendly. He makes a killer tequila sunrise. I like my drinks like i like my men fruity . This is the place to come. I drove over an hr and will definitely be coming back. The reason I picked that price is because i did drink a lot lol.“

“New place that has potential, but needs some work! The charcuterie board was good but everything else seemed to lack flavor. The flatbread and empanadas were just ok. The mojito tasted watered down and the shaken colada was tiiiny. I don't mind paying $12 for a cocktail but these were overpriced for what we actually got. Would have stayed longer and ordered more, if we felt like there was a better value. 3 stars out of 5, will give it another try once they've been open for longer.“

“I came to The Palace on a Monday night for a specific DJ who was doing a Drake and R&B set, and the music was so good. That was definitely the highlight of the night, though more because of the DJ than the venue itself. We ordered hookah and it was around $40 and lasted a good while, which was a nice surprise. There was also someone walking around taking food orders - not sure if she was part of the venue or just there for the night - but it was convenient. Overall, I had a fun night and would come back for the right music.“
