“The restaurant has an Ecuadorian menu. All the food is homemade and served in good portions. When I walked in, I was greeted with smiles and a nice welcome. This happens a lot when I go to South American restaurants. My server made certain that I had everything to make my dining experience great. No hurry at this place. I am sitting here and typing my review, undisturbed.
I hope this is not my only time to dine here.“

“Finally found fresh, homemade tortillas!!! I was so excited to eat their carnitas that I didn't take a picture! But, I highly recommend their pupusas, carnitas and tortillas. I got them earlier today and the meat and tortillas heated up perfect! I will try other items next time (and will take pictures!).“

“We held my daughter’s celebratory graduation dinner from UNCC at Barcelona Wine Bar this past weekend, and it was absolutely perfect! I planned the event far in advance with Tiana, their Sales & Events Manager, and she was thorough, communicative and handled it all like a pro, including a last minute change to the menu that she texted to me (smart). She arranged for printed menus with the event name (lovely detail!) and because they can’t include mussels, her favorite, on an event menu (understandable), they surprised us and sent her some anyway on the house. Our main server (I’m blanking on her name so sorry we love you so much!!) and our bar servers, Morgan and Justin (who we kept busy 🤣), should win personality of the year awards for their wit, humor, charm and skill (for instance, Morgan wowed us with his tapas plate stacking ability and made sure to holler in my Mama’s good ear when he spoke 🤣). It was great fun, and the food was DELISH!! Highly recommend for events and also looks like a fun place to just hang out!“
