Went for a late lunch for my husband's birthday. Not yet crowded, great music playing.The food and service were fantastic. When I told the waitress I had the bill, she went to hand it to my husband, to which I added it "only because it's his birthday". lol She then went and brought him a free dessert, and Happy B-Day was played on the house speakers. I will tell you that I have a friend that doesn't go there because he doesn't like the food I remember the first time I went even though I didn't do a review that the food was pretty good. This time I had a chicken Havana salad. They didn't have sliced avocado to put in a salad so they gave us guacamole which was an okay substitute. They should analyze Cuban cuisine more and make their customers know the Cuban flavor and not offer croquettes from boxes from the store. The tail on, it doesn't have candy, the word says it, tail ON. THE CHURROS ARE EXCELLENT AND......if you want to be the first, more than El Puro, lower your prices.The manager is excellent and forgives.
