I've had bad experiences at the one on Independence and the one on Billy Graham, either inattentive staff or the place was one inspector in a bad mood away from being shut down“

“We went there after a concert late at night. That's the best time to go IMO. The overnight cooks and servers are the best. Nothing wrong with the other shifts but overnight shifts hit differently. Food and service were both great, definitely would visit again.“

“This was a great choice for my first visit to a Waffle House. I loved the wall of windows and natural light.
Our server was so helpful with menu suggestions and answering my questions. The coffee was excellent, and she kept my cup full. We started with the cheesy grits and OMG! We devoured that! I don't normally eat American cheese, but I liked it on the grits. They were so creamy and tasty!
Next, we ordered the Grilled Chicken plate, Cheesesteak and Cheese Eggs breakfast, and added on a pecan waffle. I added grilled onion to the cheesesteak and hash browns; highly recommend. The food came out piping hot, smelled amazing, and was soooo tasty. The grilled chicken was juicy and perfectly seasoned. I ate everything on my plate except for the waffle; that was my only disappointment. It was doughy and too dense; I only took a few bites.
I see why people love Waffle House, but I've heard that they're not all created the same, lol. This one is super nice, bright, and clean, with amazing food and coffee.“
“Food is decent however the guy with the eye is a problem. Very snobby for no reason. I would advise management coach him. I asked for a couple packs of syrups and I added “well 4” and he told me a couple is 2 and seemed to be upset for me asking for syrup with my $60 order.“
“Ordered my food online...I ordered an ALL STAR with chicken sausage, grits, rasian toast, eggs, waffle..it was good. Only thing is I didnt get any syrup or utensils.I guess the 2 ladies in there were doing their best. It was only 2 ppl working & i picked up at 4:30am..reckon i should give them some grace! “My sister, friend (her 1st time at a WH), and I had the BEST Waffle House experience I've ever had for two reasons: 1) our server, Amy, was a ROCKSTAR and treated us like royalty, and 2) the food was great! I can't say enough good things about Amy, who really went out of her way to make my friend's experience a memorable one. She even played music on the jukebox for us! And the food was GOOD! The grits were creamy, the waffles were perfect, and my sister's cheeseburger was juicy and full of flavor. The restaurant was clean and so was the bathroom. I wish I lived in Columbia so I could go back here regularly. 💛“
“Was a bit busy but they have a cohesive work flow because it did not take long to receive the food. It was hot and good, other than the chilli (just personally don't care for it). Very pleasant staff. Honestly one of the best waffle house experiences for me!“
“I love the Waffle house... Greatvtimes and Great food. My only complaint is with the times changing, I believe Waffle house should change too. You need more seats. Way more seats. You have 6 tables and 6 bar stools. No room for a large crowd.“
