Waffle House in Gastonia

“We had Annette as our waitress and we loved loved loved her!!! She was so nice and funny and she was singing she was a hoot! The food was amazing as always at this location! She was literally hollering across the place to check on us while she cleaned (nobody else was in there so she wasn’t disturbing any other customers), she made the experience so much better than it already is“

“My wife and I stopped late on a Wednesday night after a full travel day. Server, Michelle, was efficient attentive and cordial. I ordered bacon cheese steak sandwich with hash browns. Wife ordered pecan waffle. Food came quickly. It was tasty and hot. I will certainly return when I pass by again.“

“Over all its a good place to eat except on Tue. and Weds. Service is poor on these days, We use to eat everyday but now we Skipp these two days. We came in last Wed. and not many people there . We went in and had three empty boots but they had plats and food still on the table and the help was standing around talking and on their phones. We set waiting in the window chairs for them to do something and almost left. I told my wife this is why we don't come on Tues. and Weds. I don't like to fuss but its sorry help on these two days as servers go.“

“I truly enjoyed my visit to Waffle House this morning. I mean not only is the store newly refurbished and updated but the Cook and the Server were amazing. I had great conversation and food and even the entertainment wasn't too bad. Lol. You can have breakfast and a show all in one for less than 20$. The show was just watching all the people walking the parking lot and trying to get money or cigarettes and then a couple that were eating and afterwards had to scrape up enough money but the guy was so high that he couldn't be still. Honestly it makes you feel bad,mad and sad all at the same time. Thanks again for a good breakfast and the conversation.“

“I have always had great food and service here. Sometimes the other patrons can be a bit sketchy. I am not going to rate the food because I only had coffee this night but I left with a skin reaction and itching badly. I was fine when I entered. Maybe it was just a cleaner used in my booth before I sat down but it took a long shower and Benadryl to get relief.“
