“We've become big fans for Brewers At 4001 Yancey. Nice food menu and the quality is top notch. A large, diverse selection of beers with options to suit any palate. Most notably, it's evident by the staff that they place a strong emphasis on customer service and experience. Very friendly and always helpful with recommendations. It's a huge space with plenty of room inside and out. Well worth a visit in Charlotte's LoSo neighborhood.“

“So I always come here to see Kelly, she’s the best! But tonight she didn’t work, but still had amazing service. Also want to note I work down the street. I came home tonight and my hands and sweater smells like cinnamon and vanilla. there’s an amazing scent going on in this place. No reason I shouldn’t smell like grease and sweat from my job down the street. Dumbfounded. Maybe their ultra clean bathrooms and soap in there? Idk, but I’m obsessed. About to get the deets on this soap and incense if they use it. I’m sitting here smelling myself“

“5 local beers from the olde Mecklenburg brewery. They had a amber ale, German pilsner, hefeweizen wheat ale, an IPA and a seasonal rotation that was a stout. They also have a bar with whiskey, tequila, Gin, and vodka. Beers where about $13 so average for airport beer. There is also outlets at all the barstools. Great if you need to charge phones or laptops.“

The drinks are amazing too but I think it’s just a little bit of the vibe of a lot more than a few of them and the food was good and I was just a bit of an idiot this was a good idea and a good one to start off the week off right in the first week and I hope it goes smoothly.“

“If you have not been to Southern Tier Brewing yet you really should check it out. The seating situation alone is great. You can sit outside, inside, or in this cool in between space where they open up these big doors. They even have a little fenced in dog area which is awesome if you are bringing your pup.
They have a rotating menu and rotating drinks which keeps it fun. And even though it is a brewery they have beer, wine, cocktails, ciders, all of it. I have tried the spirit flight, cocktails, ciders, and honestly have not had a single bad thing yet food or drink wise.
The staff is always friendly and always ready to give you recommendations so ask them, they know their stuff. It can get busy and a little loud at times but even then the service stays great. Overall just good vibes every time I go. Highly recommend.“

“OMB LoSo hosted the Celebration of Life event for my late wife. I worked with Emily to make all of the arrangements and to select food and beverage options. The process could not have been easier. The information I needed was readily available.

The event itself exceeded my expectations. Their staff took excellent care of us. Most of the roughly 60 guests provided highly favorable comments to me about this event. None of them offered any complaints.

The event's price was very reasonable and lower than I expected.“

“We stopped in for midday lunch and everything was great. The fish& chips was perfectly fried, not too heavy and the fish was fresh. Beer cheese nachos and chicken artichoke flatbread were good too. We enjoyed a beer flight too.“

“1) People movers have been broken for months if not years. Not a big deal if you are not changing terminals, but seriously get them fixed. 2) Have been delayed at origination airports for departure to CLT and from CLT to destinations on almost every flight I have taken that involves Charlotte. 3) Taxi times are almost as long as some of the flights out of there and ground crews are rarely ready to send or receive aircraft. Horrible airport. one of the worst in the country.“

“Visited OMB Ballantyne and had a great experience. The place has a beautiful setup with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it a perfect spot to relax with friends and family.

The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with the classic brewery feel that OMB is known for. I sampled a few of their beers and enjoyed them all, eventually settling on the Vienna Lager, which was excellent and easy to drink.

We didn’t try much from the food menu, but we did order a couple of desserts. The New York Cheesecake was absolutely delicious and definitely the highlight. The Brownie Sundae was good as well, though I felt like it was missing something to make it truly memorable.

Overall, the combination of great ambiance, quality beer, and tasty desserts made for a very enjoyable visit. Whether you’re stopping by for drinks, food, or just to enjoy the atmosphere, OMB Ballantyne is definitely worth checking out. Cheers! 🍻“
