My first time here was yesterday, for a special event. I recently had a hip replacement and have mobility issues so I was concerned about moving around and where I was going to sit, etc. Every staff member we encountered could not have been more helpful, kind and compassionate. It was a wonderful experience! I will definitely be back!
My first time and my server Jack gave me excellent service. He had allowed me many options until I found my favorite beer. Thank you Jack for a wonderful time.
Excellent food, atmosphere, and beer. Highly recommended.

The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery & Biergarten offers a top-notch experience, especially for those looking for a lovely buffet and great beer. The food is very good, with a variety of options like the delicious Pork Schnitzel, Jäger Soße, brats, and a jumbo 16" pretzel. The beer selection is impressive, featuring the standout Hornets Nest and light lagers, along with hot wine during the Christmas market. The ambiance is super, with a beautiful beer garden, music, and an amazingly spacious layout. The restaurant is children-friendly, with a small but lovely playground. The atmosphere is amazing, reminiscent of Oktoberfest in Munich, Bavaria. The sausages and sauerkraut are on point, and the service is excellent, making it a great place for events or just enjoying with friends. While parking can be a challenge, the overall experience is wonderful. It's definitely worth a stop if you're in CLT and love German food & beer.
